Got a 'Too Good To Go' box from here for just over £4. It's great that this pub takes part in reducing food waste. I was very impressed with the large pork belly! I was even given a choice between chicken and pork, which is appreciated. Portion was fantastic, have some veggies left over. Many thanks!

Good atmosphere. Staff were pleasant.Wife had the steak which she said was beautiful. I had the fish chowder, was tasty . Unfortunately the portion was the size of a starter and didn't contain much fish or lobster. On the plus side it was very tasty. If the size increases then I would definitely recommend 👌.Thanks Arthur

Accidentally left owing them for a beer the other day, sorry, I'll be back asap to pay for it. Lovely place, nice staff, good food and drink. Thanks again

Absolutely top notch food here! We were very impressed with the quality, portion size and variety. Desserts were huge. Multiple vegetarian options. There are limited parking spaces outside but parking is free on some nearby streets after 5pm on weekdays. The decor is not fancy and the facilities a bit dated, and some of the clientele were drunken louts, with small dogs running around under the tables.Would still go back for the food though.

Amazing Sunday Roast! This pub has really transformed since new management, had a fantastic Sunday roast with all the trimmings, cannot fault a thing! Lovely sun terrace and selection of drinks available - staff were so friendly and even provide a water bowl and treats for the doggies! If you haven’t tried the new menu you are really missing out!

Live locally to the Coach and Horses and knew it was under new management and always like to support local businesses and we weren't disappointed. The food was of a very high standard, loved the desserts in particular, and as a vegetarian and gluten-free customer, I am not the easiest to please, but staff were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely go back and the fact that it is pet friendly, as a dog-lover, this is just an added bonus!

We’ve had 2 visits to this pub in recent months and have been very impressed on both occasions. The first time we came for dinner on a Saturday evening and had a great meal, with v friendly and efficient service. We chatted for a bit with a lovely French lady, who suggested that we might like the Sunday roast. We experienced it this Sunday and were delighted! The staff were charming and helpful. The meat was tasty, the vegetables plentiful and cooked perfectly. The gravy was a wonderful rich jus. Best of all, they had made gluten-free Yorkshire puddings for us, as we had mentioned that I was coeliac when booking. We loved it! Thank you!

Best chicken roast I’ve had in a while. Only criticism/comment would be to thicken the gravy a tad. Safe and onion stuffing worked perfectly.

Finally got around to going to our local pub and was pleasantly surprised by how welcoming the locals were and the nice ambiance that there was. Definitely will be going back for drinks again :)PS. The amount of beautiful dogs that were here made everything even better!

Had a delicious veggie Sunday roast here recently, but the white choc cranberry bread and butter pudding absolutely stole the show. Never tasted anything like it. Would make the trip back to Bristol for that alone! Lovely service and vibe too, I will be back!
