Cosies in Bristol

Described aptly by one of my friends as the "living room of the city centre", this mini underground tunnel-esque bar come small nightclub certainly lives up to it's name.The nights are cheap, the venue feels welcoming and friendly, and water is always freely available on the bar (top marks). Though the queues for the toilets (that, when you are in them feel like you are in an old American Western movie) can be a little long and the staff can be somewhat brash during closing time it's all part of the lively cosies experience, and an experience I would recommend if you are looking for a relatively cheap, fun and friendly night out close to the city centre.

Fantastic evening at Cosies World famous Reggae Sunday's as always. Great staff, selectors and customers, do drop by.

We had a fabulous night at Cosies - shame you pay so much to get in but it was worth it!

Good music and good atmosphere until late Sunday night around 3am when it becomes really dodgy... Been insulted by two Jamaicans (obviously too high) because I was speaking french with my mate!

Great bar. Really friendly staff, plenty of outside space. Very well run.

It's all in the name, a very comfortable venue to dance all night or chill with a few drinks. Hadn't been there in ages and they've now extended their seating capacity on the pavement just opposite the club to accommodate few more tables. Brilliant memories from this place and always good vibes!

Fantastic basement venue. No frills , quirky. Great outside vaulted smoking area . Staff and security calm and friendly , cheap drink , great music, open till late 10/10

My favourite venue in Bristol without a doubt. Always the best vibe, lovely staff, amazing music and a small basement setting for the best gigs!

Staff were great. One of the bar staff asked if a guy was harassing us and offered to remove him discretely if so. Everything was fine, but the sentiment was appreciated. Strong rum punch too - perfect!
