Don Giovanni's in Bristol

Had another wonderful evening at Don Giovanni's.We like going there for an unhurried evening with great tasting food.Had the Whitebait and Calamari to start,with Lemon Sole mains.Followed by a cheeky bread and butter pudding.It was just what we needed, a good night out.Thank you to the chef and the team there.Will return, just one thing, the Canollo make more please ,they sell out so fast we were unlucky this time.Will prebook it next time lol.

I was heading to see an art exhibit and was looking to get food before I went. I walked from the bus to the exhibit and found Don.G only a few minutes from the exhibit.I arrived at 545 pm and the women at the front said she could sit me but needed the table by 730pm. I had a 7pm ticket so it was perfect.. I salt down and was pleased to see all the seafood choices they had on the menu.The order the prawns and the mussels. The prawns were a nice size , bonus with adding tiny prawns. The dressing/ side salad of the dish really had tons of flavor and even was really a refreshing dish.The mussels were covered in the tomato/garlic sauce and did blend very nicely with the mussels.Over all really enjoyed the food here. 💜

Cheeky Italian while I wait for my mateAwaiting my friend. I had a table for one and felt so relaxed. Lovely atmosphere. Busy and friendly. Lovely staff. Great food. Do it!!! Try solo eating. It’s liberating and here makes you welcome while you wait for your mate!

Been past this place so many times, but finally booked. This place feels old school and really comforting in the best way. The staff are friendly and the food is just delicious! Great portion sizes, you can ask for dishes to be tailored (i got my prawns with extra chilli), really fresh and great value for money. Made for a really nice birthday meal, thank you! will definitely be returning :)

Like a hug from your favourite aunt this place always feels so familiar and reliable. Maybe because I always order the exact same thing, I can't resist those giant prawns that are always seemingly on the specials board. Portions are intimidating (perfect to take those relatives to who always complain about portion size...) and staff are very friendly. Some of those I went with said it was a touch on the salty side for them, and the prices have definitely gone up since the pandemic and endless roadworks around Temple Meads, but I personally have no complaints.

I came here for valentine's day. The food was delicious and arrived very quickly. The staff were very knowledgeable about the menu and drinks. The restaurant itself is beautiful on the inside! Can highly recommend the Chicken and Mushroom Risotto, Paté starter and Cannolo dessert.

Great food and beautifully presented.... Menu has a wide range of options. Very busy on Saturdays so do book in advance and expect to wait a little bit. However very much worth it!

Very Italian, much culinaria. Food was great and gentle with the flavors, wine was one of the better I had. Service was tactile and responsive. No vegan dessert unfortunately (that's why only 4).

I forgot to review in the same evening. It was a weekday.I really enjoyed every dish but my favorite was the risotto with seafood,Everything was superb..The service was very good, excellent.Authentic Italian/sicilian dishes in a modern style review.I'm Sicilian and I really really enjoyed our dinner.So well done to all Don Giovanni's Staff.
