As always, great food and service. I had skate wing which was delicious and the sticky toffee pudding was amazing.

Came here last summer in 2021 for a birthday meal. Food was delicious and full of flavour, there are many choices available on the menu. The outside seating area where we sat down was surprisingly nice, and we were given blankets in case we got cold during the evening. Great service given, and our waitress was really friendly. Overall fantastic, And we would definitely visit here again when we return to Bristol in the near future.

The raw seafood we bought here was off. Perhaps because they left the bag on the floor and not in the fridge. We will not be returning

Went for a works meal and had a fab time. Food and service was great. Would definitely recommend

·

Absolutely amazing.. We had the marinated anchovies, sardines, smoked halibut and trout pate. Followed by the Dover sole and Gilt head bream. Very friendly staff, quick service and reasonably priced. Highly recommended.

·

Very attentive and very friendly staff. Chef kindly cooked something off menu with no qualms even suggested how to have it cooked, highly recommended. Lovely atomosphere pity we live so far away in South Wales. Not rushed or hurried food excellent.

Nice casual atmosphere. Relaxed and food was A1. Well presented, good quality and so tasty

Just back from the restaurant and I can safely say the salmon fillet on kedgeree was the nicest dish I’ve had in a long time. My only regret is I’m not staying in the area longer so I can try another dish.Great service, great food, smiley staff….don’t need anything more, thanks 🤷‍♀️😃

Gorgeous little place- excellent service and first class food. Beautiful kedgeree- so lightly curried with melt in your mouth smoked haddock. Superbly- cooked scallops in shell and very good deserts. Need more selections in their white wine menu though for a fish restaurant. In recent visit went alone and was banished to the upstairs section, although downstairs wasn’t full. Good service though normally- don’t get banished upstairs like a naughty child.

Superb meal all round. There were 4 of us late afternoon on Sunday. We were able to get a table without booking. All the fish was perfect. We had a mixture of huge portion of whitebait, mackerel pate and beer batter king prawns to start. For mains; skate wing with roast new pots, beer battered Pollock chips and mushy peas, grilled swordfish with cous cous and grilled salmon. Sides included green beans and samphire which were both excellent too. Cozy restaurant and good staff, was quite loud though as there were to 2 larger tables. Definitely a good place to visit if you enjoy fresh fish.
