Just like say WOW.Amazing service and outstanding food. This is a must to go if you haven't been to Spitfire Barbecue Bristol and if it's a nice day then if you can sit outside and you will love it.Food/Drinks/Service fantastic.Lovely Polish Lady I forgot her name but she's a credit to your company and was superb. Will definitely come back in future when next in Bristol.

We had some BBQ as you may see on the photos and it was delicious. I would say a well spent £20. Highly recommend the Texas BBQ menu. But if you are not a fan off BBQ sauce better to tell them in advance as its been poured all over alot.I do not recommend buying chips from this place. I got the dirty fries but I could not enjoy it. My friend got another type of fries and it was the same.If you are up for some good BBQ with a good potion size this is really good. Highly recommended

One of the best burgers I have ever had. Lovely setting. Good beer. Ok, the service was initially a little slow, but honestly - the food was so nice and view so good who the hell cares?!?

Absolutely loved the food here. We ordered the prawn king, punk chop with dirty fries, halloumi fries and peanut butter stack. All were absolutely awesome but the punk chop was unbelievable. The flavour was so good and it was so tender and juicy.

The restaurant was very clean, the staff were lovely and welcoming. Our food was delicious, hot and fresh. We really enjoyed our meals. We would definitely recommend eating here if you haven't before, or if you are visiting the city like we were.

Its been years since I have been to Spitfire, and again not disappointed. Both the food and service were fantastic. Buffalo wings and onion strings to start with. For mains we had the St Louis Rib rack and half a boss back rib rack. Both of which were absolutely delicious, meat was tender and moist. Sides we had dirty fries and mac n cheese again, both were great. The wonderland beer was perfect with the meal and due to the different beers out server even offered a taste to help decide. Can't recommend this place enough, we will be heading back

Had high expectations of this place looking at the menu and previous reviews.Unfortunately it falls short in a couple of places. First is value for money. Prices are about 20% to much for the quality of the food. Ribs and chips is around £26 which would be fine if they were of a higher standard. I had the Lois Rib and it was nice enough and the portion was generous, but the fat hadn't rendered as much as I like, and the meat itself lacked flavour and didnt have much bark to it. The house BBQ sauce was very average. Drinks are also very expensive. Dirty fries were disappointing and not very dirty (cubed meats sprinkled over some thick cut chips). Mentions fries on the menu but they are more like steak cut chips. The onion strings and mac and cheese were really nice though!Service... Our server was nice enough but when the food arrived there were 3 mistakes, my side was given to someone else on the table (on their plate) sides were sort of chucked anywhere. Unfortunately one party members order was misheard (it happens, but in this case could absolutely have been handled better). Our server took the plate away and another male member of staff came back and very bluntly tried to get the party member to accept what they had been given as it was 'the same but had a bun on it'. We politely declined and asked for what we ordered which was met with a loud huff as the plate was taken away. Not good, especially considering things like allergies that could have been a factor here.We finished our mains and were offered dessert, to which we declined as we were stuffed! We were sat chatting away as we hadn't seen eachother for a while and flagged a member of staff down to pay the bill. We spent a whole hour at the table not being offered another drink, refill on our water or... Anything. Pretty basic stuff. Not great when you leave a restaurant thirsty. Will not be visiting again.

Fab service, fab food. I recommend the baby ribs 1/2 portion is plenty. They are amazing with a nice wonderland beer. The Alabama chicken burger was very tasty too. Will definitely be back. Especially in the summer when you could sit outside under the trees. Mac and cheese was good too but the brisket was a tad dry. But I am overly picky as the ribs were amazing.

Really good food and friendly staff. You can't take a dog in but they opened up one of the outdoor tents for us, which have heaters. Overall very nice experience. Forgot to take photos until after we had eaten...so its just bones...but proves how much we enjoyed it.
