Horts Bar & Restaurant in Bristol

Used to enjoy this place but too upmarket now. No tables available for 1 person but I was offered a seat at a table with 3 strangers! Won't be in a rush to go back.

Really good food and friendly service. The Sunday roast we had was really good. All enjoyed. The beef was tender and hardly any fat. The veg wasn't boiled within an inch of it's life like a lot of Sunday roasts. Really enjoyed.

A real hidden gem. The cinema room in the back is so good for watching the rugby or football. The whole venue has a very chilled out vibe. Nice food and great selection of beer too

Really good Sunday roast. Turned up without booking and had no issues getting in. Service was fast and friendly and had the beef which was amazing with a couple of sides, everything was really good. Had a pint of Guinness with the meal which wasn’t very good tbh but overall would absolutely recommend.

Well, Christmas lunch may not be the best first experience for judgement, but there won't be a second experience.Slow, slow service, at times hardly any service at all and food piled high, and only marginally edible.So why give any star at all, you may ask. Well Horts is an attractive venue and the bar staff (one of) was charming, that's the best I can say about this place. Give this a miss.

Comedy Chest was class, not my first time either, well worth it every fortnight. Good beer/gin selection too, really nice and well decorated pub.

Large city centre pub in quite area good restaurant quality food served in a friendly pub atmosphere. Has its own cinema at the rear, only let down had football showing on the TV's and was a bit noisy at times.

After years of searching for the best roast dinner in Bristol, Horts takes the prize! Absolutely superb food, fantastic service and excellent selection of drinks. HIGHLY recommended!

Amazing Pub. Had a great experience, staff were excellent. Food and Drink best in Bristol. Manager was first class. Sports offering with cinema room is awesome. Will be back. WELL DONE

After over a decade living in Bristol, this is one of the comfiest spots in the city. Friendly staff, calm lighting, wonderful chairs, cracking selection of drinks and tasty food, not to mention their cinema!All in a great location and step-free access from pavement to pint which is a rare thing. Love this place.
