APPALLING SERVICE.Have never tried the food here and probably never will. Walked into this branch (the place was empty except me) and ordered my takeaway. The chef then came over and told me that it was going to be a half hour wait for my Singapore noodles for 1, I told them to forget it and left. The irony is I walked here from home for my food while there is some joker sitting at home in his underwear getting better service than me.

Today I ordered a takeaway from Hotcha. The prices are higher than most Chinese restaurants but I thought I’d give it a go. After spending over £20 on an order, I was sent an email saying the delivery time would take up to 1 hour 5 minutes. I waited for an hour and fifteen minutes before calling the restaurant to inquire where my food was. The woman apologised and said that the food was out for delivery and would be with me shortly. After waiting another fifteen minutes, my food had still not arrived, so I called again, and this time I was informed that they only had one delivery driver for the whole day, so everything would take longer. I have no idea why they only told me this after I’d already waited an hour and a half. Finally, one hour and fifty minutes after placing and paying for my order, my food arrived. The food was stone cold, unlike, however, the can of pepsi, which was the only thing to arrive hot. The portion sizes were absolutely tiny, and the food was of very low quality. I ordered sweet and sour chicken, (which usually come with the sauce served separately) which had the sauce and fried chicken pieces mixed into one tiny pot, meaning it had turned into a congealed slimy mess by the time it arrived. The beef dish I ordered was incredibly bland, with only a few pieces of beef hidden in a tub full of vegetables. And then the special fried rice, which I’d imagine should have been the simplest thing to make, was completely over cooked and mushy, and there was a small piece of metal mixed into it! (About the size of a staple. I hope I haven’t ingested any other pieces…). The containers weren’t even metal, so god knows where that came from.I was horrified by this entire experience, and am waiting on my full refund, although frankly I feel that’s not enough, after giving me cold, disgusting food with metal in, and wasting nearly two hours of my time.I shall be formally complaining following this review. NOBODY EAT HERE. ITS TOTALLY GROSS.

Took forEVER to get food an di once was ready they messed up my order. Had it made again and it was the most tasteless thing I've ever experienced in my life. Waste of money!

·

Used to very good. Prompt and tasty. Last 3 times the orders have taken hours and the noodles have become bland. Really going downhill.

Weare still waiting for our order. 2 hours. They refound it but still not gettin it. I doubt its gonna arrive. Very bad service. No drivers. Good food tho.

Food is as standard, nothing special but you know what you're getting. the service was awful, I went in late on a Saturday night and one of the chefs decided to try to stare out my girlfriend, the chef then decided to complain about us ordering that late, and once she had finished cooking, she decided to throw a tantrum like a school child. Not exactly welcoming.

Been waiting 2 hours for food.I haven't eaten the food yet, but the lady Sarah who was so helpful on the phone is the best thing about this place so far!!!!! Let's see how the food is. She gets 5 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 thats the only reason there still getting my money.

I used to find them very punctual but seems to take ages these days. I used to like the pork belly but these days it's a little dry and overdone. Some of the food is quite nice tho.

Waited almost two house for food to arrive cold and late. I kept being fobbed off with promises of the takeaway being 10 minutes away. This was simply not true! I tried to discuss these issues on the phone however customer service would not even consider a refund. There are loads of better Chinese restaurant in Bristol. I am very disappointed!

Was put on hold for 3 minutes whilst asking how much longer my food would be, waited an hour previously before ringing. After the 3 minute hold I was then told that my food would be a further 25 minutes, whilst living in a 1 mile radius & being charged for the phone call.
