Lal Jomi in Bristol

Friendly host with excellent food. We had all vegetarian food with the sag aloo, paneer shaslik and an aubergine dish being the highlights. Perfectly spiced and flavoursome by the resident chef of 25 years. Definitely a curry house to keep going back to. Andy and NOCO.

Tastiest curry I've had in this price bracket & not greasy, but expect slow delivery if you order on a weekend which is why I marked them down. It was worth the wait though & I would re-order but allow extra time. Online tracker didn't update so it just said being prepared & tried to call but line constantly engaged. A little concerning for a first time customer.

1 star for customer service, 4 for food. Don’t order online! I ordered 1.5 hours before and came to collect and was told it would be 2 minutes. Unfortunately they clearly had not made the order so had to do it from scratch. This would have been ok if they had said, I could have drank a beer, or just come back later. Instead despite asking after 15, 20 and 25 minutes the food was always 2 minutes away. 2 hours later I had a decent curry.

We had an absolute brilliant meal at thls refurbished restaurant.. Every dish was amazing as was the hostess on the night.. I cant believe this has been on my door step through lock down and cannot wait to revisit it .Actually counting the days.. Keep up the great work and loved the lamb and Okra dish .. ! A new firm favourite here in Westbury Park.. Top Job!

It's my local so somewhat biased, but the food is genuinely consistently lovely and I really like the staff - I have lots of choice around here, but I always go back when I fancy an Indian.

Do not order from here if you want to eat within their displayed delivery time. Ordered and should have received our food eoth in the hour but waited over 1hr 30 when I rang to check where it was a couple of times, I just kept going told it was on its way, I was then told they were busy and the women then just hung up on me. Terrible service, I’ll never be ordering from here again!

We had a delicious meal here last evening and the staff were friendly and attentive to our needs.

Absolutely incredible food! Really can’t rate this higher than what Google allows. I’ve tried lots of Indian restaurants across Bristol and this has to be one of the best! Will be ordering again! 🔥

We used to eat here a lot about 25 years ago before we had children; and it was our favourite Indian Restaurant at the time - great food and excellent service.Last night a group of 10 of us turned up at the door at 12am, just after they had closed; but they reopened for us and served us an excellent meal. Even after 25 years, the food was still as good as I remembered and the service was even better 👍😁. Thank you 🙏.

Really yummy, the lamb was tender and tasty, not tough at all.Not your bog standard curry- lots of spices and flavours.My friends came down for the weekend and we had curry takeaway twice it was so good!!Staff are friendly and helpful. The decor in the restaurant is fabulous so next time we're going for a sit down and get a booth.
