The restaurant looked lovely but drinks were cold (Mocha x 2) and one of the mains (chicken burger) was cold as well. Not nice considering the cost. Not impressed really. My other halves sourdough pizza was apparently very nice though.

Would not return. Booked a table for 5pm Saturday. Place was busy but not too bad, was a fair few tables inside and outside. We decided to sit outside as it was nice and we were early arriving. We decided to wait a little before ordering food as we weren't overly hungry, but within 10 minutes of our booking time we were being pestered to order as they were 'short staffed' in the kitchen and needed to get orders in. (There was no one else eating as far as we could see). We decided just to order a small plate and some chips. My sister ordered the Halloumi which was charged at around £5. When it came out we were both shocked. 2 and a half measly slices of undercooked halloumi flopped on a bit of big standard lettuce and soggy chips to accompany. We mentioned to the waitress that we didn't think this was satisfactory for £5, and she returned to us with another soggy piece dumped on the top. She then said 'the chef told me to tell you that it's supposed to be 3 pieces'.I was really disappointed and will not be returning to eat again. I think this was an excuse for the chefs too clock off early on a Saturday night if I'm honest!

Terrible experience. Drinks had to be changed immediately as the coke was see through, to be fair the bar lady was nice about it changed them promptly for us. Food was a disgrace, chips were soggy, raw and greasy. Pizza advertised as sourdough looked like something you could get in Asda for under £1.We waited an hour food and when awaiting a refund the 'manager' or 'chef' whatever he called himself came out, told the bar staff not to process any refunds. He then started arguing with another customer in front of myself, his staff and other customers. Highly unprofessional. We were there an hour and I saw 4 people complain about the state of their food. Avoid at all costs!

Landed in Bristol and needed some food, came across MacKenzies and it was amazing! The burgers were so tasty and the kids meals were such value. Reasonably priced and staff were really helpful and friendly. Popped back for breakfast and the scruffy beans were out of this world! So tasty. Plus nothing was too much trouble, even when my youngest changed his mind the staff accommodated him

It was a nice place with 2 for 1 cocktails. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The only thing that lets it down is that the music was so loud we couldn't hear each other talking

We have been here 4 times on a weekend for breakfast and the service is awful. Either they have run out of food or they stop taking orders for a while then when you do get to order you wait ages for food to come. My advice is avoid weekends and go in the week when its quiet as they do a lovely breakfast when you do eventually get it.

Went to this venue prior to attending a show at Bristol Hippodrome. Food and drinks were great. Food is reasonably priced and waiting times weren’t very long at midday but I guess this depends on how full the restaurant is at the time. A little later I did hear staff advising new arrivals of the wait time giving them the choice to stay or leave. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely return. Keep up the good work.

The worst service in my life. 50 minutes waiting for order. And didn't come. Manager of bristol brunch not interested to talk with customer "too busy" f joke. Comment to response: I asked 3 times where wad food. No one gives answer. I gave correct table number but bartender wrote wrong number. I told her number 23 x 3 times. But she didn't change. And still weren't ready when I left place

I’ve been with my boyfriend for a meal…worst experience ever. Poor customer service. We waited long before getting the food. We’ve been missing one of the dish. We double checked and no one came to us to say if the dish was coming or not. No one came to do the check back….the halloumi was burnt…was testing like a charcoal. The potatoes were tasteless, and the tomatoes sauce was raw. But the worst was the red wine, served in a ice bucket full of ice. Once we finished the food, no one came to clean the table. Never came back.
