Ambience takes you to a different level of dining experience. Watching the food being prepared is always fun. Concept of tasting menu is taken to the extreme with 20 courses. Each little more than a mouthful and sometimes a bigger helping would have been more enjoyable. The bill is not for the faint hearted!

Had an evening out here recently for a 50th birthday with a small group of friends. Loved the atmosphere, music and the service was excellent. At £300 per head (with wine) felt the service charge should have been included. Food was good although a theme of miso/fermented soy ran through most courses, becoming a bit overpowering. Overall I enjoyed the experience but have to say much preferred the previous format/menu. It's an experience!

A truly unique taste experience! Hard to describe for those considering, so here goes….The food was amazing, as above, a taste experience… unique flavours with smoky undertones (due to the fire cooking). Loads of courses but didn’t leave feeling uncomfortably full despite 23 plates!Staff had a fun and relaxed attitude and seemed to be enjoying themselves as much as we were! We loved that the guy told us they use some of the left over sauce for oven chips after their shift!Head Chef clearly very cool guy, who can cook 23 courses over a roaring fire for loads of people, timed perfectly and DJ at the same time? Was great to watch !Great music which was loud and pretty random - one minute playing Biggy then Hans Zimmer? It was loud enough to actually make it feel quite private as you couldn’t hear other people’s conversations but it wasn’t so loud you couldn’t chat! Tables nicely spaced away from eachother and chairs were super comfy albeit pretty random in style.Overall would fully recommend for my friends up for more of a experience and happy to sit and chat to their Casa Companion for 4 hours! We loved it 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

This was an amazing experience. The level of excellence is unbelievable. All dishes from the very first snack to the very last sweet were implacable. The wine pairing was perfect. The whole afternoon spent there was delightful. The price is definitely expensive but worth every pence.

Stunning food, well-matched wines and an incredibly friendly and knowledgable team both front-of-house and at the pass.We were treated as first-timers to a tour of the kitchen, welcomed by the entire team despite them being busy preparing the menu.We enjoyed the tasting menu. 14 courses along with wine flight. Every dish was enthusiastically presented by the chef that prepared it. A selection of interesting and well-matched wines were expertly introduced by the two brilliant sommeliers. An incredible journey of visuals, aromas, flavours and textures. Every morsel was a treat! The whole team, led by Joe made us feel welcome without being overbearing. The ambience was perfectly matched to the menu. Not an everyday outing as it is expensive, but as a rare treat it was worth every penny.

What a delightful dining experience. The dinner started with a tour of their kitchen, introductions to the 7 amazing chefs, and then proceeding with an amazing series of tasting dishes. We will come back again when we are back in Bristol.
