No.4 Clifton Village in Bristol

Sadly not a good experience. Too noisy tables too close together. Could hardly hear one another on our table. Also service to table was chaotic made too many assumptions on what we wanted and service was slow 3 coffee' s ordered 2 arrived and 3rd was a long time coming. Other items ordered were missed out altogether. A shame as was supposed to be a birthday treat for one on our table.

No 4 Clifton Village was the perfect venue for my wedding and I cannot thank Tamsin and the rest of the team highly enough. My partner and I were deciding between a small intimate wedding and a big event and as soon as we visited No 4 and met Tamsin our decision was made. We had the perfect day celebrating with our family and we are so grateful to No 4 for giving us such a special day. The venue was stunning, the food was delicious and everyone that worked there made us and our guests feel so at home and well looked after. Thank you No 4. We'll definitely be back for an afternoon tea!

My daughter was married here on the weekend and No 4 The Village was an absolutely wonderful setting. The staff (very much becoming friends, very quickly) were amazingly welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for them. They were incredibly accommodating, extremely professional and quietly efficient without ever seeming to be noticeable - quite a feat to pull off. The food was excellent with everything timed to perfection - from setting up for the ceremony itself to changing everything speedily for the reception meal whilst the wedding photographs were taken outside. Just a phenomenal day with superb attention to detail. I could not speak more highly of everyone involved and my thanks goes out to all.

I will always love No4 Clifton Village and it will always be one of the first places i recommend to people. The staff are cheerful and hardworking and they're always super accomodating. I had an afternoon tea with 2 friends, and the service was great, food was incredible, lovely atmosphere and we just had an overall great time! 100% recommend

Absolutely lovely meal at No.4! Such a cosy and pretty restaurant in the heart of Clifton Village. The food was outstanding thanks to the chefs Fabio and Matt. Special thanks to Hollie the Assistant Manager who made our evening so great!

Fabulous dinner for two. Lovely atmosphere and super friendly staff. Vegan friendly. Also managed to successfully cater for my allium allergy - a real achievement. We will definitely be back. Well located for pre/post dinner drinks in the surrounds bars in Clifton village.

One of the worst experiences with any restaurant group I have ever witnessed. Do not book No.4 Clifton Village for group bookings or Christmas parties.Cancelled our 40 people three course roast dinner meal at No 4. Clifton Village, in a private room, 3 hours before our booking and moved us to Pizza on the park. No accommodations were made for the significantly lesser experience of a communal space in a pizza restaurant, until it was pointed out that this restaurant offered a package cheaper per head so one glass of processeco was provided. A sharing starter, pizza main and a desert was agreed prior to the meal, however this was not provided. After the starter and main the manger asked if anyone wanted desert but noted it would be charged extra. After explaining that desert was included and showing the agreed menu we had been sent prior to the event the manager still refused to include the desert we had payed for. The manager eventually provided 1 desert between 2/3 people.Paid for: individual starter, main and desert with half a bottle of wine in a private room at number 4 Clifton Village.Received: Shared starter, pizza main and 1/2 a desert with half a bottle of wine in a shared space at Pizza on the park. No concessions made for the significantly worse experience and didn't even provide the food we had paid for.Nice pizzas, nice staff, horrible management. Avoid this company for group bookings and Christmas parties.

Me and my partner had a beautiful evening.The ambience was very cosy and romantic. The staff were very friendly and warm and the food was delicious.I had a few dishes, so sample the menu properly. It was all very tasty. The best restaurant of the trip.
