Oh! Calcutta! in Bristol

I've have had both dine in and takeaway. The food is always very good. Minor point is that there is no lime chutney in the pickle tray.

Consistently a lovely meal. Accommodating for large groups and a great birthday treat.

Really delicious curry, friendly service and reasonably priced. Will definitely be coming back!

MEAT Found in a VEGETARIAN Meal!!!???Last night I ordered a vegetable biriyani.I was horrified to find it had a piece of meat in it!! I was disgusted as to how this could have happened.I have been a vegetarian for many years so I’m quite distressed to have inadvertently eaten something so abhorrent to me.Needless to say I won’t be ordering from here again.

Easily my favourite curry place in Bristol. Very reasonable prices (pilau rice is included in the price for most of the curries), incredibly friendly staff, amazing online order form, and of course the curries are top notch. The online order section allows you to tailor the heat level of the curries too! Hands down the best place for when you fancy a great curry (the starters are brilliant, as are the chefs specialties!).

I Feel the need to share this so no one else has the same issue as we did. Don’t order food from here at peak times. I’ve just waited 2hours maybe over for our food, and in the end I had to cancel the order with Deliveroo. I’m so marvin I’ve had to get a kebab. Cheers

Great reasonable priced curry house for when you just want to have a load of beers and some good grub. The owner and the girls are lovely they are really nice and remember your face and always have time to say hello. A great experience, Thursday, Fridays and Saturdays get busy so if your uncomfortable in the busy times I would avoid these times.

Great food, we ordered lots of the vegetarian dishes and were happy with the quality and taste (paneer tikka, paneer sagwala and vegetable dhansak, amongst other dishes). The lady serving us was friendly, and the price of the meal was very reasonable. Thanks!

Nice place. Nice food. My friends dishes all looked delicious. Unfortunately I ordered the vegetable Malaysian curry which was bland and had very cheap sad looking vegetables in it. Mostly potato. I would have rated higher if my food was a nice as theirs.
