Omar's Indian in Bristol

Watery main curry and a garlic naan which was a plain naan bread spread with cold garlic paste making it overpowering and soggy ...not good .

Food cold and not very tasty. Nann bread was like dough. Waste of money. Very disappointed.

Used to love this place as food was excellent but ordered a few days ago and it never arrived phoned them up and they said they delivered it to a little girl they refused to refund or send replacement food out will never use this place again

I ordered a takeaway of chicken biryani and a chicken curry over a weekend.Being a local to these dishes, I have tried literally 1000 types of similar dishes.Among all those this is right there at the top as one of the worst taste biryani and curries everThe biryani had zero flavour absolute zero . No spice no salt nothing. Even I make better biryani with my eyes closed(I swear).Next comes the gravy, I have tasted so many gravies in my life which are hot very hot sweet etc but this gravy was made with lemon n tomato so u can understand how sour that taste would be. The worst taste I ever had in my life. I have never given a worker review than this.I can only pity who say this biryani is Tasty. Ping me n I will.show you what a real biryani is so that you all can understand where I am coming from.Please don't try this 🙏

This is my favourite curry takeaway in Bristol. Good customer service, they even have their own app for delivery. The food is really well prepared and always delivered on time. My bf and I moved out from filton avenue and we still get takeaways from omar's.

Quite a nice curry. Nothing spectacular but definitely worth the money. Didn't enjoy the chicken tikka starter but my main course was actually really good. Great flavour. Would definitely come back.

Absolutely fantastic, delicious food every time. For curry, the chicken madras is perfect for spice and taste. Also I am rather partial to chicken pakora and theirs is the best I've ever tasted. Friendly staff and quick service - definitely recommend a trip to Omar's!

Ordered Omar's through Just Eat. Although the service was quick, the food was bad. We had a vegetable bhuna and a chicken tikka Masala, both were watery and flavourless, and the bhaji was overcooked. The naan was good though. All in all dissapointing considering the positive reviews they have on Just Eat. We certainly won't be going back.

Read loads of horrible reviews but decided to give it a try on just eat and the food came early, was still hot and had lovely flavours. :)

I love this spot! They prepare tasty meals, their menu is large, The chief cook in that spot is a specialist, I love a lot trying all their food. The dishes are always fresh and tasty, the attitude towards the customers is agreeable. I often eat in this restaurant and I was never discontended. I recommend it to all my friends.
