Pipe & Slippers in Bristol

A shame really to only give one star but when I attended the Pipe and Slippers with my friends, there was a large group of people with one particular girl absolutely wasted, dancing on tables, spilling peoples drinks, breaking glasses on at least 5 occasions, getting her breasts out and trying to start fights. I was surprised they let her stay in the venue and even more surprised when they kept serving her, to then be told by one of her group that their friend owns the venue and that’s why she’s still there. She ruined a lot of people nights because people didn’t want to get up and dance while she was there and if this was any other venue this girl would have been asked to leave very early on, friends are important but your business should come first, I won’t be reattending although this Venue had the potential of a really good night

Welcoming cosy pub and delicious food - the burgers and Sunday roasts are next level. So good. We keep coming back.

Excellent Roast! Ordered our main upon booking so the food came out to us fairly quickly. Nice, friendly, chilled atmosphere. Will come again.

Good crowd a large variety of drinks great atmosphere

Burgers are good, staff seemed nice, but I didn't appreciate my jacket and jumper being taken from my table just coz I was in the loo. "They thought I had left" after 2 mins in the loo is a poor excuse for "this guy isn't making us enough money on his numerous group's drinks".Won't be returning, no matter how much my group enjoy the burgers.

First time here, looking for a quiet pint after work. The service and attention to detail was fantastic- turns out the bar manager was running her first shift (Toni, I think)- very impressed. I will bring my family next time I'm in town.

Popped here with few friends for drinks before gig and decided to have food. It was very nice and we all enjoyed very much.

This place is basically an institution! Great tunes, atmosphere and a good place to boogie on a weekend. If you live in Bristol and haven't had a "Pipe Dream" cocktail here, (or two!) you haven't lived!!It's a crazy potent cocktail that tastes just like tropical juice- and the absinth gives you a hazy warm feeling that once you've tried, you'll always go back for more!

The ambiance is great and it has a nice vibe to it. However, the music is a bit too loud for conversation. The food was okay. The burger was a bit on salty side but the fries were delicious. The staff is okay, they seem to be lost in their own world.
