Riverside Garden Centre and Cafe in Bristol

We go here alot its our favourite garden centre.reasonable prices and nice little cafe.love that dogs are welcome.

Good sized garden centre with a good variety of plants, indoor and out. Staff very friendly, making conversation. Great selection of pots of varying prices, sizes and makes. Wide selection of seeds and bird feed. The cactus and succulent selection is also very good. The cafe here is lovely, providing decaf options, and alternatives to milk. The decaf latte and flat white were some of the nicest coffees we've had. Good selection of cakes and cold drinks. Plenty of parking for a small space. The toilets are very clean and easily accessible.

Lovely place healthy looking plants and a nice place to sit for a coffee. Staff in cafe a bit slow so be patient ☺️

I regularly visit Riverside garden centre. I like its size, their range of plants are always in top quality condition. The staff are very knowledgeable and approachable. The surroundings are beautiful, the displays of the plants and garden ornaments both inside and out. Plus the range of stylish indoor plant containers, gifts, cards and decorative home ware. And the architecture of the cafe with it's selection of good cakes. I like not having background music or radio too, makes it a relaxing venue to meet a friend. I find massive garden centres overwhelming and Riverside is just perfect so calming and restorative.

Came with a friend who I had warned in advance that I thought the stock would be pricey. I was right. Standard plant fare, nothing out of the ordinary though they weren't in bad condition.Looked for Daphne mezereum but not stocked. We were told there were some Daphne aureomarginta but couldn't find any. No tree peonies either. Didn't stop for coffee and cakes no idea if any good. Dogs had a good sniff around the car park.

Great variety of plants in good proximity to the city. Adequate parking and easily accessible. The cafe is nice but the food menu is very sparse. Expect a good coffee but not much else.

Beautiful garden centre! Wonderful array of plants. Went there for lunch and was a bit disappointed by the lack of choice so I enjoyed a coffee and cake instead which were delicious. Love the view across the river to the colourful houses!

I had a lovely morning there.My daughter and I were taken there by my Grandaughter. We each bought beautiful plants and enjoyed tea and cake.

Nice selection of plants and pots, just what we needed. It has an ample carpark and a space for blue badge holders. The plants look very lovely.If you fancy a cup of coffee and a slice of cake, then please do. It has lovely inside and outside seating. Even a small play area for small kids. Having a cup of coffee in the company of the plants is heavenly. 😉

Riverside has a huge range of plants, from aquatics to trees. There are loads of tools, seeds, interior plants and accessories. Great parking and very central with beautiful views out over the New Cut. Highly recommended.
