Lovely location was taken there by residents of Bristol who regularly visit for a Sunday roast, with visiting family.maybe the pub were having an off day,but the roast wasn't all that, the cauliflower cheese was missing the cauliflower and swamped the plate with cheese sauce ruining the meal.and the sticky toffee pudding was cold guessing the microwave wasn't working that well such a shame, think there be giving it a miss for a while

Foodie gastro pub, good Sunday roasts - nice and big, veggie nut roast was good and tasty with lovely Yorkshire pudding and perfect roast potatoes

Probably the best pub food I’ve ever had in Bristol. Interesting menu with fresh ingredients and very generous portions. Great selection of drinks too. Highly recommend!

Usually a good Clifton pub but recently had an issue with the doorman. Myself and a group of friends were not allowed entry purely on the basis of being male. We had been behaving ourselves but on getting to the entrance were flat out refused entry because we were a group of 7 men. Such a decision is discriminatory and frankly old fashioned. The doorman wasn’t basing his refusal on our behaviour, it was simply prejudice against groups of men. Very disappointing and hopefully this attitude improves in the future.

Amazing food, staff and atmosphere! We came here for a light bite and a few drinks on a Saturday night. The staff were so accommodating and friendly, also very attentive! The food was incredible 🤤 We had the fish sharing platter and it was so tasty and great value for money. We followed this with the brownie recommended by the waitress, it did not disappoint! The place it’s self is really relaxing and with a great atmosphere.Even the bouncers were polite and attentive, this is always a nice bonus.I can’t wait to return here again!

Ah, the Albion. An escape from the bustle of the city, without having to leave the action. A cosy, rustic vibe can be found inside, often with a lovely bit of jazz, or other great music. Food is solid, with the onion rings and fish and chips being unforgettably tasty and perfectly cooked. Top this off with a quality pint and you've got a proper, traditional treat

Beautiful hidey-hole with a great private room for team planning sessions. The food was divine. But if you're driving, make sure you get there about an hour early so you can find somewhere to park.

Very good, friendly service; nice choice of beers with excellent guest ale; well-presented, enjoyable food at reasonable prices; comfortable and welcoming environment. All-in-All a really lovely place to visit and relax in. Many thanks for your hospitality.

We celebrated my daughters birthday party with a sit down meal for 7. Great food, superb service, warm atmosphere. Thanks for the great evening.

Cute pub with warm lighting and cosy vibes. Service was a bit slow and although I adore dogs, the couple a few tables over from us had a dog who just kept barking - I understand this was a Saturday night so it is to be expected
