I used to like this spoons and came very often but unfortunately in the last month or two the standard has plummeted. I believe it has coincided with a large staffing change. The biggest complaint has to be the food itself. I don’t know what’s going on in the kitchen but the quality of food being served is SHOCKING. The worse part is that most of it doesn’t actually require cooking, just frying or heating up! And yet somehow the food is regularly undercooked, overcooked, cold… I ordered the curry one Thursday and received these popadoms. They had been thrown in the fryer one on top of the other so came out raw, oil soaked and fused together. Literally inedible. I complained to a female manager who hurriedly said she would bring more, but did not. Every single plate of curry that I saw had the same problem and had left their popadoms untouched. You would think that this would alert them to a problem!?Unfortunately this is not an isolated incident. I have now discovered that the spoons just a 10 min walk away on Whiteladies road is incredible compared to the Berkeley. If you’re reading this I suggest you save yourself the disappointment and make your way to the W.G Grace up the road.

Adore the blue dome part of the ceiling 🤩Love the little booths 🤩Perfectly located being so close to Park st,.Bristol museum, The university, Cotham hill, Etc. Friendly efficient staff, we met the lovely Georgina. Food was YUM!....I Love a good weatherspoons and this is a Gem🤩be back soon.

The staff are clearly rushed off their feet and are new so don't know table locations. But half a mixed grill was missing, short changed on the scampi bits, mushroom and tomatoes not cooked, drinks turned up after we finished our meal and after I complained. Presentation was appalling and no Mustard. Certainly wouldn't recommend and certainly won't be back. Rubbish!

Nice wetherspoon pub but can get noisy and unruly at night with students. Lunchtime is good to see the attractive insides and eat well too.

I'm usually a big Spoon's Breakfast fan, so whilst visiting Bristol we went in for breakfast. The staff were friendly, although the lady who served me didn't ask me if i wanted ice in my drink and got a bit funny with me when she had to do my drink over again. The breakfast came out quick, but I was served extremely snotty eggs. I sent them back and i was served the same eggs, that had been put back into cook, and one was stone cold and still not cooked properly. It wasn't that busy in there, and it took 10 minutes for my plate to be returned to me with everything still on it that I had sent back, cold and unappealing, and the toast was like cardboard. I didn't make a fuss at the time as I was in a hurry, but in future, someone needs to check the plate before it's sent out to the customer, and for the sake of food hygiene standards, don't re-cook half cooked eggs, and don't serve food below the accepted standard of temperature. I have sent back food a couple of times before at other Wetherspoons pubs and I have always been served a fresh replacement, and had the management apologize. The waitress was amazing, hence the two stars.

Friendly staff. Not the best quality of food. And this place definitely need a deep cleaning.

Normally food is good, however I bought four breakfasts, all four were served cold or as good as cold and I had to return 5 chipped mugs. Downstairs staff said they delivered the food as it was sent from kitchen, so it was a kitchen fault. Sadly, not a good experience.

This wetherspoons is the most amazing one out of all of them. The bar staff here are very quick and friendly. Recently I was served by a gorgeous girl called Beth and I was very pleased with the service - she was very smiley and speedy - just all round excellent customer service.

Great prices not in the slightest bit busy. Poor WiFi it keeps switching off as you connect. Order via app works a treat fast service. Plenty of hand sanitizer available throughout premises.

This is a well situated Wetherspoons, directly opposite the Wills Building, and understandably is popular with students, which gives the place a lively and interesting feel. The Whispering Gallery section to the rear has booths and is the best place to sit. On my most recent visit the food was only average, although still good value. Unfortunately the underside of the table hadn't been cleaned, and deposited unsightly marks on my clothing! The toilets are spacious and clean.
