The Birdcage in Bristol

First class buffet. Several types of delicious sandwiches are very generously filled. An amazing array of individual mini cakes, each one absolutely stunning. I could not have been more delighted with the quality of the food. My guests were so complimentary and asked where the buffet was from. Excellent value for money and excellent service from the Vintage birdcage cakery when ordering and deciding what exactly to purchase. I shall definitely use the service again in the future.

We enjoyed a really tasty breakfast in this lovely place. Staff very friendly and good prices. So, what else to start a fantastic sunny day!

Visited on the weekend and it was honestly the best afternoon tea I've ever had. I've booked to go back with friends but it's so popular I've got to wait until August until I can go again 😔 but it's definitely worth the wait!

Thought as we have been coming here for 3+ years I probably should write a review… I mean that in itself speaks volume 3+ years! We come here atleast once a week - the coffee is outstanding, food is always really fresh and tasty and the cakes are phenomenal! Staff are always courteous and friendly wouldn’t go anywhere else - keep up the good work x

Went last Sunday it was our second visit here and once again it didn't disappoint I'm normally a sweet tooth 😋 but I decided to go savoury and went for their sausage and egg sandwich in other cafes you're lucky if you get two sausages here there were at least three plus two eggs! I couldn't eat it all coffee great and all reasonably priced too and such lovely staff as well. If you're looking for great tasting food and coffee ☕ then this is definitely the place to go

Excellent afternoon tea. Sandwiches were freshly made, the savouries and scones were still warm, the cake is proper homemade tasting goodness. Great value for money and wonderful surroundings.

Came today for my birthday treat of afternoon tea with my husband. What can I say the food was absolutely delicious and so much you get lots of different flavours. Included with the afternoon tea is unlimited tea or Americano but you can get a latte or cappachino but just the one. The sandwiche fillings were yummy but the cakes and scones were out of this world. Definitely worth the wait and the room is decorated lovely.

Lovely cafe and cakery tucked away in a little side road of Yate (walking access from Kingsgate Park). Free parking if you submit your number plate in the cafe. Been here a few times for lunch, coffee and cakes. Loads and loads of choice of cakes - the cheesecake and brownies were especially delicious. Also great selection of paninis and sandwiches etc. for lunch. Want to come back to try afternoon tea! Definitely recommend!
