Famous Bristol Cafe on a quiet side street, in lovely Montpelier. Tables outside for alfresco fans, some under cover for rainy days. The food here is of high quality ingredients and worth going for alone. Prices are Bristol standard. Great coffee and loose leaf Tea. Lovely atmosphere inside. The service here is Russian Roulette though, it’s either great or laughably bad! Wondering what you’ll get is almost part of the charm for me! Recommended.

Pleasant experience. Efficient and easy ordering system thru the online app. Had hot chili chocolate, which was nice on a chilly afternoon and a delicious order of aubergine fries -- crispy, not greasy, and with two dips of harissa and flavoured mayo.

This is what Bristol is about, fun, friendly, quirky and different to any other cafe I've been to before. Everything about The Bristolian is amazing and the food is out of this world. I've never had a breakfast with spinach and sun blushed tomatoes on before and it definitely works .. loved it. All the ingredients are high quality and cooked perfectly. Definitely coming back to try other things off the menu šŸ‘ŒšŸ»

I was recommended this place by someone who knows the area. I was not disappointed. Popped in for a breakfast, asked the person who served me what did they recommend and it was really really good. I would return if I'm ever in the area. Brilliant stuff.

This is my go to favourite place for breakfast in the whole of Bristol!Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Veggie and vegan options are great with yummy optional extras! (Love the aubergine fritters!)Portion sizes are great and coffee is always a highlight! (sometimes with cool coffee art!).Dog friendly and great music too!Definitely recommend Qusedilla or Tostadas with halloumi.Gets busy so best get there early!

One of the best vegan breakfasts in Bristol! Huge portions, lovely bread, sustainable produce, just absolutely lovely. Also always greeted with a smile and excellent service. They do sit-in and takeaway and they are one of the few places to take covid seriously still. So I really like the place, though if you’re concerned there is no space for social distancing indoors. They do have outdoor seating.I’d give 5 stars but they used to have lovely home made beans with the breakfast which have been replaced with standard beans which I hate. Was looking forward to their nice beans. Shame that the quality has gone down while price has gone up. Whilst very expensive, it’s still one of the best vegan breakfasts in Bristol.

Had the best veggie breakfast and a Heartwarmer to top it off. Such a cozy and happy place to start the day. 100% recommend!

We’re getting very warm atmosphere the moment we steppped into the cafe. The veggie breakfast was very tasty, all the components on the plate were perfectly seasoned. Coffee was great, bought a slice of brownie for takeaway and it was also delicious (but a bit too sweet for my taste). All in all, would recommend anyone to dine here, probably one of the best place to eat in the city.

Definitely a good weather to grab a hot coffee to keep you warm outside!! We ordered latte and flat white~ The coffee were so nice, a bit fruity in flavour and definitely quite a nice balance too~ They also have a counter outside for takeaway coffee~ Definitely coming back next time for brunchā˜€ļø

What an absolute hidden gem in Bristol. We were looking for a chilled out cafe style brunch place as part of our day visit and this really did satisfy. Having both vegan and veggie options was really positive and was truly delicious. We opted for the ā€œVeggie Breakfastā€ and the ā€œVegan Burgerā€ which was a lovely combination to pick and share complimented by a side of ā€œAubergine Friesā€ Highly recommend all to stop by and try!
