One of my favourite pubs in Bristol. Friendly, clean and tidy. Dog/ family friendly. Car parking and outdoor seating. Fantastic food. Screens for tv sports. Would recommend.

The manager and the staff at the Cambridge arms were amazing. Couldn't have asked for better service. From the minute they answered my emails and calls they couldn't have been more helpful. They agreed to host my son's 5th birthday party and let us have the place for free if we ordered food for all the parents. It was a dream. I would recommend it to anyone thinking of holding it somewhere suitable for both children and adults. We had an entertainer and a mini breakfast buffet for the kids which they were happy for us to bring in. And let us decorate. All in all amazing. thanks for making his day and my day easy. Plus the parents were all over the moon to be getting a free fry up - still talking about it now.

Lovely warm welcoming pub, excellent food, we took 2 small children out for lunch, nice sturdy high chairs and nothing too much trouble for the lovely staff. Felt very COVID safe there.Wonderful warm real fire added to the Christmas feel, will definitely go there again ( with or without the children)

All 5 stars due to Kelly, a fabulously friendly and chatty publican (and I've met many that aren't) and her welcoming staff. Can't go wrong with Fullers beers, especially ESB and you must try Red Fox if it's on! Went back with friends two nights in a row after walks over the downs, haven't eaten there yet. Must also go back for a quiz evening. Keep up the good work Kelly.

Another lovely meal at the Cambridge Arms - an authentic English pub with bags of atmosphere and delightful hosts. Matt and Kelly really make you feel like you are guests at a dinner party. It’s not a huge menu but the food, cooked by Italian chef Dom, is uniformly excellent. My fish and chips was delicious.

Very friendly and helpful staff, we went to see Shakespeare in the garden and we could order drinks through an app which saved going up and down the stairs or missing any of the performance (which was also great!)

I've been the Cambridge on a handful of occasions when I visit from Hampshire to see my sister and her partner. The choice of beers or ciders is excellent. The food on the occasions I visit has always been excellent but, I have to make a special mention about the crispy haddock and chips I had yesterday. Cooked to perfection. Batter amazing (with a hint of turmeric?), the fish beautifully flaking, the chips like my mum cooked them (she always did the best) and, mint infused peas to die for. I look forward to my next visit and, top marks for the chef yesterday! The Cambridge is a place I can now call 'my second dining room'. Heartily recommend it. See you soon. Best wishes, Matt

Nice pub with a large garden in the back. You order by scanning a QR code that takes you to a website where you can pay for your drinks/food. Staff is very friendly and service is fast. It's good to book a table in advance.

I chose the chicken with bacon, bbq sauce and cheese because it's gluten free. It was absolutely delicious. Service was excellent. Great choice of drinks. We sat inside but the beer garden looked impressive with lots of tables. It was very Covid-19 safe and well organised. Thank you.

Cannot comment on food but a great selection of ales. Lovely staff and very child friendly. Have a large grassed garden. Been over 15 years since last visit, will be going again very soon. Dogs allowed on a lead.
