The best Chinese Restaurant in Bristol. Never failed to amaze us everytime we visit Bristol. Richard the owner is super friendly and professional. all his staffs are very patient and helpful. Highly recommended for nice, enjoyable chinese food in city of Bristol. Needless to say the foods are amazing..

Overall, very happy. Heard wonderful things about this place from friends. Certainly didn’t disappoint! The food was wonderful and the staff were so pleasant and friendly. Planning to return very soon!

Just had a takeaway delivered. Absolutely disgusting, nearly £50 for 1/4 duck too many pancakes not cooked, veg - what veg? Spring onion was not recognisable and dried up, someone just thrown it all with no care. Chips were cold not eatable, curry sauce tiny for the amount ordered, sweet & sour clumps of dough no chicken. Worse takeaway ever. No exaggeration. Avoid!

Owners of this restaurant are extremely agreeable and friendly to negotiate an event here for our university society. We pulled off a great Chinese New Year dinner karaoke event, and it was a great success thanks to the staff at Cathay. The room, karaoke facility and food was specifically catered to our group as well, which made the evening well worth it.

A really lovely restaurant, perfect for dinner out or for a party. We booked one of the private rooms and had their Chinese New Year set menu.The team went above and beyond to accommodate us. The food was incredible and we are so appreciative that they adapted our food to make it suitable for the party. We thought the food was very delicious and the team accommodated all of our needs. They are so friendly and pleasant and we couldn’t be happier with the hospitality that we received.Thank you so much for having us, we really enjoyed visiting and we can’t wait to come again. We will definitely be back!

Ate here with a large group so were booked into a relatively private space and got the set menu.Food was decent although the duck pancakes could’ve had crispier duck. Overall standard Chinese takeaway fare but very enjoyable.Some basic cocktails are offered, nothing special but executed well enough given the setting I wouldn’t usually expect any cocktail option.The staff here were very helpful and friendly, couldn’t ask for more here! Very enjoyable meal and would recommend for a large group.

I honestly don’t usually leave bad reviews but my treatment from this restaurant is nothing short of appalling! Having ordered over just eat and spending over £40 my order was 4 minutes away when I received a text to say it had been cancelled! I called the restaurant only to be told the chef was absent so the owner was in the kitchen! That’s fine I understand but they put the phone down on me and blocked all subsequent calls! Please don’t lie actually I’m presuming the delivery guy dropped the food en route but why can’t you just redo the order .. disgusting customer service we are now left hungry and very disappointed!

Had a fantastic takeaway from here last week.King prawns in Salt and Peppercorn was delicious as was the Szechuan Beef.20% for collection via deliveroo too and food was ready in 20 minutes.Very impressed

Not so good experience with food.Staffs were amazing. Nice service. They were kind to customise the food as I wanted.Must recommend the Noodles with the dumplings, the crispy chicken was below average.
