The Clifton in Bristol

Lovely pub, improved since recent change in management. New menu which is great. Dog friendly and you can watch sport here which is increasingly difficult in Clifton village for some reason!

Having been coming here for the last few years with my son and his girlfriend. Always enjoyed the food and beer. Very friendly staff with a very pleasant atmosphere. Would recommend it to anyone.

Came in to watch the six nations rugby. Staff were great, very accommodating. Great beer selection on tap and food was brilliant. Best pub in Clifton for food, casual drink, or sport viewing.

Eaten here a few times and always enjoyed it. The pie is excellent and the tobacco onions always go down a treat. Also has a good selection of craft beer

The atmosphere of the pub is nice and decent,the food is presentable, the "This is not chicken burger" is definitely brilliant without the vegan mayo which help me to slash a bit calories, the side salad and the patron pepper is nice but the pepper will be a little heavy handed over the salt otherwise is perfect.

Very friendly staff, very helpful. Great hot food. I had the Boss burger very tasty.

Good pub but the staff (in particular I think the manageress) were very rude and refused to serve a couple of the guys in our group even after others had been served. Ruined our time there and we quickly moved on

Good food. Great staff. Amazing environment. They even lets doggos in. They were so good with looking after us and our dog I had the chicken wings I'm a wing fiend and they were really good. The burgers looked incredible and my dad said it was really good. The tobacco onions are a must so good.

Another splendid evening.Came in for one, stayed for five. Great vibes and great service. When the sun went down Harry was quick to come over and set the vibe lighting the candle. He knew we were staying for more than just a catch up. Beth and Alex were very accommodating all night, keeping the drinks and banter flowing.Would highly recommend.

On a crowded, summer Sunday in Clifton, the staff here were friendly and welcoming when other pubs dismissed us rudely at the door. The roast chicken dinner was excellent and a gigantic portion to boot. We sat in the window and watched the crowds walk by. Highly recommended.
