Lovely environment and great staff. Easy to find parking on the street as no car park is available.Food: Fish and Chips - Everyone who had this said it was ok nothing special for the price, however, the batter was not crispy and was very soggy.Macaroni cheese: Smelt and looked great and daughter loved it.Pizza (The Pig): Was a great pizza and loved every bit of it.Downsides: Was charged for bottles of water and prices was very expensive for what you got.

Nice pub with a great atmosphere. Worked well for a 50th birthday party. Staff very friendly too. We also ate at the pub and the burger was positively average unfortunately. But overall, I'd definitely visit again and it must be lovely in the summer in the outdoor area.

It's a pub that is trying to cater for everyone. They have various functions on which are in a shared space. Dogs at most tables, and children running around while their parents are catching up with each other. So a good venue to catch up and have a few beers, but if you want to have a quite conversation with a friend or an intimate meal then this might not be the best place to start at.

I recently moved to the area and wanted to try all the local establishments before settling for my favourite. The place has a sizable beer garden and looks good but the staff lets it down. Dirty tables, slow service and overpriced. There's better pubs around luckily like the Wellington or the Royal Oak.

A really great time here having Sunday lunch. They accommodate dogs (inside) and children without bother, even finding the dogs some biscuits!The roast dinner was very tasty, a generous portion too.My dessert was a little disappointing, they are on the more expensive end and the piece of frangipange tart I had felt like the last bit at the end, dry and stale.Dispite this I would go back as the rest of the meal was good and my companions desserts were fine.

Delicious lunch complete with daily specials, great staff, first place in a while that has felt like a proper normal UK pub. Many thanks to all involved, we shall be back.

More a restaurant than pub, I think, ideal for large groups of family and friends.The food is fine from a sensible menu. On fine days the marque provides much needed additional space.What make this eatery special is the super young staff. What a breath of fresh air to be served by personable cheerful and willing young service staff. Charming!I enjoyed my time here and saw lots of happy people. Well worth a try.

Lovely food and very well presented. Could have done with a few light bites however friendly efficient staff and good service. Lovely outdoor area with lights and a good selection of tables. Very welcoming.

Family and dog friendly pub. I have been here several times and never had a problem. It has a great enclosed garden which is sun trap. Just perfect for some food and drink.
