I am going to be really picky and mark them down for not having Timothy Taylor's Landlord on tap! It was our first visit and we have no complaints. We went for the Sunday roasts and neither disappointed. My wife had the beef and I the belly pork and they came with a mixture of vegetables plus we added the cauliflower cheese. We just had room (after a half hour wait) to share a rhubarb trifle which was surprisingly light and rounded the meal off nicely. A lovely sunny day meant they opened up the doors to the front of the pub and although on a main road didn't seem too noisy. They have a large garden area as well, decor was OK and the staff were welcoming and helpful. They do tapas type meals during the week so are return visit seems likely.

Been living in Bristol 2 years and we’ve tried many places to eat but this has been the best by far. The food is gorgeous with a huge selection to choose from. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Been there twice now and will be going again!

This pub is a 10/10. Michelin quality food at very affordable prices, attentive bar staff, relatively cheap alcohol and a very friendly atmosphere. There is absolutely nothing this place could do to improve. Massive thanks to the team for a relaxing afternoon.

Really delicious Sunday Roast!! The beef was spot on and the friendly service was great! Lovely venue with cool artwork on the walls. Nice little semi-covered garden area. Dog friendly. Will definitely be back for another roast

Dropped in for a quick drink. Didn't stock the local gin I love, so had a glass of wine and a beer for him. Both good. Service was friendly too.

Love this pub. Bar staff are just lovely. Nice building, great layout and lots of tables. Really great place to hang out with friends.

Exceptionally good food! While at first unsure, seeing the extensive menu and being a bit skeptical of pub food, I was quickly and thoroughly proved wrong. I ordered the hummus with pitta and pickles and you can taste it is home and expertly made. I also got the smoked haddock on toast and was delighted with every bite. Flavours perfectly balanced, fresh and adequately portioned. You can tell a lot of thought went into the menu. You'll get a proper dining experience for your buck. What a gem on Gloucester Road! Also big ups to Eleanor for finding me a table when it wa sbusy and I explained I had a back issue and can't sit at tall ones. As a server myself I appreciate the gesture to accommodate me. Will be back for sure!

Gorgeous food and great vibe. Service was quite slow (forgot about the can of beer I ordered), but maybe they were just a bit busy. Overall loved it and would go again, especially for the delicious roast!

poped in randomly with my wife and five year old and had one of the best lunches I've had for a while, the waiting staff were really helpful in making sure we ordered the right amount of food and steered us towards things the little one would like, long story short, everything was delicious and we'll be back, wasnt even super expensive. loved it :)
