Another tasteful venue. I only needed a couple of teas to take away so I can't comment on the menu but it was a fiver for the two teas to go. It's in an affluent area so I should image the prices reflect the owners investment and running costs.

Love The Hideaway , food, and staff fabulous. I am looking forward to one of their live music events on the evening.

This is my local restaurant which I wish to support. I tired ring to order their fab calamari at 9.30 pm. No answer. So cycled there. The 'oh so not helpful waiter' first of all told me I could not park my bike in front of the restaurant. I offered to move it, get that I was going to spend money over £10. Only then did he point out the kitchen was closed. Where on this planet did Mr Beard learn Customer Service skills? I got Singapore Beef Noodles for £3.50 from the next door co op. Not the same ut really hacked off as I was yesterday with a friend. Booked it for my birthday with my book club mum friends. Speechless. Why would i park a bike if I could not order food. I mean, it is a restaurant. Which is what they do. Normally with Customer Service to get repeat business as a local restaurant

Wow… price for a lunch for 4 adults, 2 toddlers 5yo & 2yo and a baby 13mo… £128….I don’t mind the price if the food was decent but it was far from it… I would only pay 40 quid for food and maybe tenner for drinks and extra tenner for the play area….Would I ever go back? Nope sorry would not goBack even for free sorry!!!Roast beef was like cardboard, Gravy was tasteless and I had 2 tiny burnt thing underneath the beef, I think it was some kind of root vegetables but it was black and burnt really cannot finger out what it was…Other dishes nothing special and I don’t see how they charge such high price… very strange!

New to this place and what a find. Great family friendly restaurant with fabulous decor making it feel a cut above the usual.Menu is broad enough for a range of tastes and quality was really good too.All this accompanied with excellent accomodating friendly service.Nice kids area too which just helps alleviate the table boredom younger kids experience. Books and cubby holes, again all smartly designed.Definitely returning

A really great place, good space and great food. Banging breakfasts but I didn't have one this time as it was lunch time. Service is excellent and good price. We shall be back, many times probably.

Really good local eatery. We were there on the night of a big Christmas party and they were down to two chefs so service was a bit slow, but they kept us informed and did all they could to make sure we were happy. Their cocktails were second to none and the food was worth the wait when it arrived. Great food and first rate service - what more could you want?

Great cute cafe with lovely staff and nice menu! We came twice in one day for brunch and for an afternoon tea ☕️🍰🥪 The breakfast menu was great and especially loved the variety of it. I think for the price we can have a big bigger portions but other than this great taste :) Coffee was great! It was nice that staff went back to check where the coffee beans was and what it was called as well. The venue was very covid safe with staff wearing masks and getting contact information and having hand sanitising stations. I think having some condiments could also help to top up on some flavours as well. The scones and brownie was warmed up which was really lovely! Having some local bakeries cakes in could even help to have more variety in the cake section but they were delicious :) One small advice is we waited quite a lot of time between the drink (15 -20 minute) and the food so if it is possible to bring them at around the same time will even improve the experience :) highly recommend and would live to come back again!
