Dog Friendly! We met friends in Bristol on Saturday and were looking for somewhere to have lunch that was dog friendly. We came across the Hole In The Wall and they could not have been more welcoming. Great food, service and even the dogs were provided with water and treats thanks to our waiter, Alex. We'll definitely visit again.

Great experience..greeted at the door by Kye and our server was Alex..both people could not have been more motivated or friendly..service was attentive without being overbearing and the food was excellent..we chose Squid and the mushrooms to start whilst I had the half rotisserie chicken and my partner chose belly pork and scallops..all dishes were great tasting and the presentation was superb..all in all a fantastic experience and thanks to all the team

What a fantastic place and importantly for us its dog friendly downstairs. The menu was extensive catering for all dietary requirements. We have vegan friends and I know they would be pleased with the variety offered. On a warm day it would be nice to sit outside on the many tables available. The outside is on a corner so there is traffic passing

This was just what we were looking for on our overnight trip to Bristol. The online booking was confirmed quickly. The bar was quite noisy and busy, perfect for a quick pint before we were taken to our table upstairs.Alex was our waiter. He was vey attentive, extremely polite and very enthusiastic. He made great recommendations and really looked after us during our meal. The food was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Would highly recommend and would have no hesitation returning if we are in the area again.

Lovely pub/restaurant, came out tonight for a meal and was served by Fin. He was friendly, attentive and very thoughtful, and seemed like him and other staff were genuinely very happy. Food was excellent and couldn't fault it in both flavour and presentation. Price was very reasonable, regarding location and quality. Will definitely be back soon.

An amazing group looking after the customers. All the way from walking through the door, being being seen to our table, helping us have the meal that we were keen to experience. Cocktails, service and support. A great bunch, great starters, mains and service. Definitely a place that makes us want to go back to Bristol, thanks for the great support seeing in the new year and a prefect pink lamb rack.

Fantastic spot for a soup and cup of tea after a chilly afternoon wandering up and around Bristol. Super staff, great ambiance plus interesting history. In addition to the lively bar and main seating areas, there are many different nooks to sit in, plus outdoor seating.

Hole in the wall was actually really good and we really enjoyed our night there. I was very pleasantly surprised as I had heard mixed reviews. The rack of lamb was really tasty, rich gravy and the butternut squash puree was so nice! Will definitely be back!

Amazing pub for lunch. Everything was delicious and I would recommend the baked Alaska. I would maybe suggest that for it they beat the meringue 2-3 minutes longer as it’s sliding off
