Great location. Dog friendly (ground floor). Friendly staff. Menu choice poor (6 mains) Food is below Wetherspoons quality in my opinion. Outdoor and indoor seating. Limited parking (only a problem in summer/peak).

What a beautiful pub. Bar staff was lovely good selection of drinks and the food was nice. Would fantastic in warmer months when you could sit outside and see the lovely views.

Great local pub, lovely tucked away location overlooking the river, food is good and staff very helpful and friendly.

Came here for evening meal with my daughter. Booked in advance for early evening and found we needed to since most tables were taken by people ha I guess an evening drink. The menu is rather limited and basic with a couple of ‘specials’ which were nothing special. There was a good choice of beers and they tasted good. The quality of the food was good and the service very good apart from the fact that you couldn’t have a tab and had to pay for everything each time you ordered, which is frustrating. We had a calamari starter with a chicken burger and sausage and mash with a wine and 2 beers which came to £45 which is pretty good value for money

Called in today for lunch. Been there many times before so I thought I knew what to expect. Went to the bar, served straight away, my wife and mother sat down. The surface of the table was sticky all over. The whole place smelt of toilet cleaning fluid. So strong! We looked at the menu expecting there to be the usual choice. Under MAINS there were 3 things, sausage and mash, curry or a salad. There were several different types of burger but that was it. Previous

Wonderful place to stop for a drink. Enormous beer garden with incredible view over the river. Plenty of choice of drinks as well. Pets and children also seem perfectly welcome

Lovely pub and great surroundings, Good view of the river severn and Pill, great selections of alcoholic and soft drinks fairly priced. Food is also served which is of a fairly good standard, service can be a little slow at times it can take the servers a little while to get to you to take your order and then drink delivery to your table can be slow also but this is understandable at the moment with covid restrictions and when it is busy.

I took my kids for a walk the other day and came across the Lamplighters pub.We went in for some refreshments, the place was very busy, but we were served quickly. It looked fresh and tidy with a nicely painted outside area. The member of staff that served us was called Sophie, she was very friendly, helpful and informative. I could see that the staff were rushed off their feet, but never the less, I was very happy with the service I received.

I regret not causing more of a fuss last year about this. Ordered a cottage pie, it arrived and looked great......but found a piece of chipped of ceramic plate inside the pie. I told the staff who brought me a new meal......but that was it, they didn't seem that concerned about it. It's a shame as I liked going here with people, after the poor treatment I will never eat out here again. If they had actually offered the meal for free or apologised I wouldn't have felt so mugged off. Considering the serious health and safety issue I raised they did little to rectify the issue. While I still drink occasionally here I don't want to risk eating again, such a shame as like I said before the quality of the food itself is fine.

Visited the lamplighters as I used to visit a lot over the years when I was younger. I was disappointed in the service we recieved. It is now table service, and we had to wait a long time to order and for our drinks to arrive. I would understand if It was Busy, but it wasn't. The food was okay. Perhaps some menus on the table, or something to help with the whole process. Maybe an app would be good to create. It is hard in these times with social distancing measures that are in place.
