Does this place have a Michelin star? It seems around that level of quality to me. Standards here seem high both for service and the food is excellent. Dishes aren't too spicy (shame as I love hot spice) not overpowering but full of flavour, elegant but not over the top decadent.

Fine dining Indian but without any pretentiousness. The restaurant was comfortable with a great (chilled out) vibe. Food was fabulous and the staff were very attentive. There was another table booking after our meal, so we had to return our table, but were able to continue our evening at the bar with a complimentary drink! Extremely kind, thank you. Couldn’t recommend The Mint Room more if your looking for great service and tasty food.

Hasn't really changed much, food was good without being exceptional but the atmosphere was very chilled and enjoyed it based on this. Staff need training, I was never asked to try the wines and my glass was over filled when poured,, just basics really. Worth a visit as above average

Our 2nd time at this restaurant and it did not disappoint. Attentive but discreet service from well trained and informative friendly staff. The A la carte menu provided a superb variety of perfectly cooked food. I had the soft shell crab to start which was sublimely well spiced and delicious. The marinated duck main was fabulous.

100 percent quality, we were very well looked after and the food was really fabulous, this is a favourite for us and always a winner. Thank you team Mint Room.

Very nice welcome by polite, well trained staff. The food was good but not exceptional as experienced previously. Drinks menu comprehensive and cocktails very well made. Toilets need some investment to match the front of house decor as becoming tatty.

The service we received from The staff was impeccable there was 7 of us the staff topped up wine before letting our glass empty and were super attentive and polite. The food was absolutely delicious I had the tasting menu which consisted of 7 delectable dishes you can have a wine pairing with each dish If you so choose aswell. I could not find a single fault with place it was spotless food was well presented and delicious staff were amazing and will definetly be back

Have been here a couple of times now. Loved it the first time (pre-Covid) but was massively disappointed the last time. When you visit a place like this, the expectations are naturally high because of the price you are paying. The ambience is great and the service although slow, is good. But we were let down by the food - and I am not comparing it to the local places and what passes as "Indian" food in the UK.They seem to have made few changes to their food with more focus on presentation than the food itself.Saffrani Murgh : Was rather bland, hardly had any flavour at all.Hara Jhinga : This was the best of all the starters, liked it.Dhuva Machli (Salmon) : Tandoor style, but overdone which killed all flavour of Salmon. For mains, we had Butter Chicken (not bad but not great and just too little sauce), Kozhi Nadan (liked it) and Chicken Biryani (good but again remember it being better first time around). Garlic naans were really good. Now coming to the worst part of the meal - Desserts! We had Ice creams (no flavour at all), Jamnun Nest (complete mess - 4 tiny jamuns with a nest of rice sewai which was completely devoid of any flavour at all - served with tangy chutney which didn't work at all) and some Macha Kulfi (passable). All in all, we were left disappointed after paying almost £50 pp for a meal. Don't think we would be going back.

It was my first time and I really enjoyed everything from starter to the main dish. Dum Biryani is quite unique and tasty. I would give 5star for food.In terms of price, its quite expensive. Especially starters are over priced for what you get. Another downside, service provided by one of their waitress was not what you expect for such sort of restaurant. She never said hello, thank you or anything.Honestly speaking, I shouldn't have paid service charge at all for what type of service was provided by her.

Coming from an Indian sceptic of Indian takeaways, this is by far one of the best Indian restaurants i've come across in the U.K. A bit pricey so won't be a regular here but every dish is carefully balanced in spices, packs a punch and true to it's origins. Fantastic ambience, friendly staff, authentic dishes and overall, a very satisfied customer. Meat platter starter, seafood platter starter and Nalli Gosht was exquisite.
