Shame, love the garden view from mouse garden, but after just visiting and trying to pay with a paper twenty pound note. The landlord held it up to the light made a big fuss in front of other regulars, embarrassing me and said he's been caught out before with paper money, said "it didn't feel right" and refused to accept it. I asked if he could confirm it was genuine with a note checker they have in pubs but didn't want to know. Like I said there are better ways of dealing with customers without shaming and embarrassing them. Good buy mouse from all of us.

Good old local serving a good pint of Guinness and the community. Ace back garden for outdoor drinking as well. Friendly staff 👌🏾

Delicious food at affordable prices, served by really friendly and accommodating staff. The pub building itself is pretty small, but there's a great garden with lovely views over Blaise. Definitely recommended!

Lovely for a.local pub in a city. Comfy beer garden with a nice view. Staff friendly and helpful. Food is good pub food. Feel safe cleanliness wise. Will definitely have more visits. Picture of the view.

Rude staff and a bit stuck up - obviously only like their "regular customers".Nice views though from the garden.

Authentic traditional pub just on the outskirts of Westbury on Trimm. We had Sunday lunch with genuine home cooked vegetables, a good cut of beef. Lunch for 5 including 3 adults, soft drinks and 2 glasses of wine came to £87 which seemed about right. Pleasant outside seating area for the summer with a great view. Two different sports on the two TVs but not oppressively large or noisy so suits non sports lovers too.Only downsides today were no parking and no cauliflower cheese!
