The Shakespeare, Redland in Bristol

Nice pub, friendly staff wouldn't eat again though.

OK but it's a pub that has given over almost all of its space to fining, so loses its atmosphere. Food not bad.

Took my walk group of 8 to the Shakespeare today , the landlady was very welcoming and helpful , great food and service ,all 8 members of the group were happy with the service and would recommend to others and hope to return in the future , had the vegan fish and chips and a mango sorbet , yum , Enjoyed our visit and will return definitely

Lovely atmosphere. Good selection of drinks and the food looks and smells amazing (haven't tried it yet). Great pub quiz on a Monday

Sadly, this menu is clearly lacking in vegan options. Bar the one vegetarian dish, even for a pescatarian, there are no options due to the unnecessary addition of the goose fat. I think this is a reasonable point in this day and age:(

Went for a Sunday roast, really enjoyed the food. Excellent portion size and really quality ingredients. Thought the service was great as well.

Lovely roast, good food and a nice setting. The staff are very friendly and the food is delicious. I would recommend A++

This lovely pub is just off the main Redland Road and due to the nature of the area parking can be a bit of an issue.A traditional corner pub with a lovely Victorian style exterior and toilets with stain glassed panels on doorFound the pub to be very clean & tidy and the staff extremely friendly. A excellent pint of 9pm from the Bristol Beer Factory Brewery was on draught.There is a quite an extensive menu and very reasonably priced. The Ribs and Roasted Cauliflower Salad were excellent and service was quick.Will definitely return when in the area.

What a gem :DNot very big, and I wasn't expecting a full dinner menu, but we ended up getting food and having a few drinks and it was absolutely lovely.The vegan dirty fries were really nicely cooked and crispy. The pricing is decent and the staff were really lovely! I've never thought about going before, but now I'm definitely going to return

Best Sunday lunch I've had in a very long time. Really good flavour, decent portion and quick, friendly service. Called up on Sunday and was booked in within an hour 👌 will be back soon 😊
