Grace was very attentive every time our bottle was empty was there to re-fill- very welcoming and kind throughout experience. Food was good size portion. Good atmosphere and welcoming venue. Toilets cleaner and tidy.

Grace R was absolutely lovely! We had booked a bottomless brunch and made sure we were really well looked after the entire time we were here! Food and service was amazing, would definitely come back <3

Came for my best friends hen do 26/02/2022 and to be honest the whole experience was shocking from start to finish. We had to order at the bar or app (which was not a problem) however half of us did not even receive ANY drinks throughout our whole one and a half hour time slot. Please tell me what the point of “2-4-1 cocktails” is when you cannot even receive one? Or even a simple glass of Prosecco!?All of our food came at completely different times (despite some of them being on the same order). Various wrong meals were brought on a number of occasions (staff clearly not listening to what we actually ordered), wraps were very chewy and no flavour. A waitress brought us all water glasses but we never actually received the water we requested.Staffing seemed a shambles, no general manager on site. The only refunds we were allowed were the drinks we did not receive. So it appears the awful service, plus bang average food, plus the fact half of us couldn’t finish our drinks due to being in a rush does not matter and still cost 13 of us £20+.Really disappointed I chose this place for such a special occasion. I shall not be returning & will be spreading this message to my friends also.

Very smart newer generation of Slug and Lettuce. It's worth a visit just to check out how nice it is inside.Nice staff and clientele and a very cool vibe to the place.

We visited on a Sunday, having booked a table. We arrived and were seated very quickly. However, we were not informed of any issues with supplies until we were ordering food. Only then did we find out they were out of a lot of things (steak, mash, bread, garlic bread....). The service wasn't great (they didn't bring us a children's menu, they brought the wrong fries) and it just wasn't that great of an experience considering we chose the slug and lettuce as a safe option for the kids.

As a bar i rate it higher but I went for a bottomless brunch which was average, nothing special. The food itself was ok, medium sized portions but the chef/waiters got our 4/7 of our orders wrong which wasn't ideal. The staff were polite and friendly, no complaints there. If our food orders were correct and the price was lower then I would up my rating.

Amazing array of 241 cocktails. Really tasty and great value for money. Service was really fast considering how busy they were on a bank holiday weekend!

·

We won a bottomless afternoon tea at Slug and Lettuce and couldn’t fault it. They were also very helpful with finding vegan/ gluten free alternatives. Thank you for the great service, I can’t wait to visit again!

Slovenly service, waited ages for poor food, staff seemed incapable of serving the public.fries were called different names but were just deep fried potatoes from a frozen bag .Very poor.I will not return, and I'm sure I won't be missed.

Nice location by the main square at the Harbourside. Plenty of seating inside and out. Great place to come for drinks on a nice day. We had lunch as well; it was fairly average but edible. What let them down was the slow service, especially for food.
