What can I say apart from reasonably priced place for food and drink of which is always high in standard and quality!!Always clean and tidy and the staff are more than welcoming!!Keep up the great work

·

Excellent Wetherspoon pub in the Yate town centre with all the usual value for money getting near time for a renovation but still good quality with friendly service.

·

Fast food service despite the pub being very busy. Friendly and helpful.

Small fish and chips with mushy peas and a cup of tea or two ! £3.99! What's not to like

Seems to be just a little bit more up market than most spoons I've been to. Nice to be able to look in the kitchen area, pleasant and helpful staff. I think because the staff are of a more mature age and not teenagers 9 out of 10

Clearly our waitress was having a bad day. Took away drinks because I didnt have valid ID (completely fair by the way, I'm not even remotely upset about that) but it was more the completely unnecessary tone she gave me when she took them away. Treated me like a child for no reason and really ruined the atmosphere of what had been a decent night. When I picked up my ID from home and retrieved my drinks I got no apologies for the patronising address and instead was handed my drinks back in complete silence. I understand why you had to do what you had to do, completely, but considering we had already paid for upwards of 5 meals and 2 desserts it felt a little disrespectful for the staff to treat us like plotting children rather than young adults. You would hope that 21 year old waitresses would have a little bit more empathy for a group of young people going out for drinks, but clearly that was not the case.

The post lockdown appearance is a definite improvement on its former cafeteria look. The staff continue to provide an efficient, friendly service. It's no place for a romantic rendezvous, or even a great night out, but for economically priced drinks and quick food service, It's a winner.

Nice and quiet esp being on the edge of a shopping centre. Food was great and a decent price. Wasn't stuffy I:e tables crammed together. Lovely atmosphere. Will visit again.

The local Wetherspoons in Yate - good food, cheap drinks and a nicely decorated place. The toilets feel like they are miles away from the main restaurant (especially when you’ve had a drink). The food is of decent quality for pub food and they also do a good breakfast. Some good deals on food throughout the week. It can sometimes get very busy at Thorns Farm. It is normally clean in there. I recently had the Smashed Avocado English Muffin (Avocado, Guacamole, Pico De Gallo) for breakfast and I added maple bacon for 85p and my other half had the Traditional Breakfast our meals came out quickly but were below average. It was strange having onion for raw red onion for breakfast and the bacon I added came out stone cold and the avocado was chopped rather than smashed and looked nothing like the advertisement picture. My partner was also missing the tomato from his Traditional Breakfast which is annoying as it’s not good enough to miss items and this isn’t the first time something like this has happened at Thorns Farm where things have been forgotten.
