Great pub/bar! The place is amazing and very atmospheric! Reminds me a lot of Mediterranean bars!

·

Popular place, especially the beer garden which is always busy and has a great vibe. Inside is quite small but I've never stayed inside! Great beer and food (although not tried it since it stopped being fully vegan), fast service. Great Bristol pub.

Busy but cozy pub. IPAs are nice. Pays a living wage to staff which is good. I like the decor inside and the outdoor seating area. Upgraded from 4 to 5 stars as I have now been here several times and it is a good spot for a drink.

Favourite local pub! Has outdoor heated garden with fairy lights and always great service!

·

Cracking little pub with a great garden, which is excellent in summer and has a good collection of heaters for the rest of the year.

Super chill and quirky pub in an area you wouldn’t expect it to be. Lucky find. Pint of tonic water for £1.25, legends.

Very interesting place. Great decor and lighting. A little too busy and cramped for my tastes but to be fair it was a Friday night, so to be expected really :)Definitely worth a visit to this hidden gem of a place 👍

This is very local to us, so we do appreciate them for what they do. Of course staff are very kind.Garden/Nature views are extremely nice, and the little opens rooms with benches are great. They always do different kind of menus here, but at the moment they have an only Vegan Menu. I am definitely not vegan, but Won’t complain… the food was nice and has lots of options to choose from. One thing that could be done better is their Fries… if you are going to serve an only vegan menu please serve some proper nice and fresh fries… ours seemed to be the frozen chips you get from Tesco and throw them in the oven.

The place is nice with a covered beer garden (really nice at this time of the year), staff was very nice with us too but the prices have gone a bit high and the food is all vegan, apparently the old meaty burgers were spectacular and the current ones are ok but nothing especial

Best Sunday lunch in Bristol. Great and friendly atmosphere. On sunny days, you can also chill at the beer garden. The portion that is served at the Volunteer Tavern is absolutely huge. It will feed the most hungry people and it is absolutely delicious!
