Ask Italian in Cheltenham

I’m extremely disappointed with the poor portion sizes of the chips and calamari (see attached photos). No value for money whatsoever and they missed a dish of vegan lecca lecca completely from the order!I will not be dining at or ordering a takeaway from this restaurant again!

Booked in for a meal on Saturday and it was absolutely lovely. The staff were really nice and service was brilliant. Glad we booked as they had to turn people away because of how busy it was! Despite how busy it was, the food came out in good time without us having to wait ages. Overall, it was a very positive experience.

Genuinely so disappointed. We had a meal here tonight. Starter was ok but mains were appalling. We had a pizza which was tasteless with barely any topping and linguine con frutti de mare which was supposed to have king prawns, muscles, clams and squid. The sauce was bland, there was one bit of squid and the “king prawns” were tiny and shrivelled (see photo of the biggest one I found). Both meals were cold. Staff were pleasant but I think management need to be looking at their “Italian” food!

Staff were absolutely lovely. Food was really nice and they had a wide range on their menu. The restaurant was clean and welcoming. Definitely recommend.

We were a party of 5 booked for 7pm. It was a busy Saturday evening and the staff, although working to capacity, were cheerful, friendly and efficient. We ordered our food via the app and all our dishes were served promptly, which was surprising considering how busy they were. The food was good and hot, but maybe watch out for the stuffed mushrooms (which are great) as they're served in cast iron dishes which are very hot indeed🔥Very enjoyable evening and the staff were great, but we'll perhaps avoid dining early evening on a Saturday in future.

Food pretty standard for Ask. Service slow and not up to standard. Asked for starters to come with main course, didn't happen. Pizza that should have honey on the side..no honey. Took nearly an hour to get three Pizzas in half empty restaurant. Nobody seemed to be in charge supervising.

Me and my boyfriend have dined at this Ask Italian a few times and we always enjoy it. But we visited recently on a Tuesday and we received such good customer service, very friendly staff, especially Camilla who was lovely. Our food arrived quickly and it was all delicious. Would recommend and looking forward to visiting again next time :)

Went here this evening. Felt so welcomed from the word go! The staff were all so lovely and this made us feel relaxed. The food tasted fresh and was served hot. A much better experience than a few other places we've visited recently. A lovely, enjoyable experience. Thankyou.
