Had an excellent evening for Mum's 80th. Very good food, catering for dairy and nut free and vegetarians. Our server was Phil and she was amazing. Thoroughly recommend.

What a joke this place is. The last time we went half the stuff we tried to order was not available. This time they are full despite more than half their tables being empty and us just wanting a starter and a table for 20 minutes despite the front of house not bothering to check their booking system. No offer that we could eat at the bar either. This is after standing at reception for 10 minutes waiting to be acknowledged.Absolutely abysmal customer service or in fact none at all.

My current job means an overnight stay in Cheltenham once a week. So a Premier Inn hotel with a Beefeater restaurant next door is perfect, giving me everything I need in one place.Unfortunately, it doesn't, as the food is definitely not up to standard. On my last few visits, the food seemed rushed, tasteless, or tasted just bad, and a bit greasy. Service, whilst OK, did lack a certain smile. My last visit, however, has made me decide never to eat there again. The first plate came out with the chicken raw in the middle. Considering it was a flattened chicken breast that would take minutes to cook, a raw stripe running through it was a surprise. When a fresh meal was delivered, they'd obviously given me the rubbish as the coleslaw that came with the meal was congealed, the chicken had no raw stripes this time, but it was barely cooked with a texture that still made you wonder if it asn't. Plus, it missed key ingredients like the barbecue sauce (it was a smothered chicken, so bbq sauce is pretty much essential). Needless to say, I didn't eat it and they correctly didn't charge me.This was part of a meal deal with the Premier Inn which included breakfast. I cancelled breakfast when I got to the hotel reception and was promised a refund on the food portion of my bill. She also said that I wasn't the first and they regularly had complaints. My search for a decent meal that evening saw Beefeater replaced with McDonalds... I walked up the road and had a meal deal from there instead. Much nicer, and edible, than the food a supposedly reputable chain like Beefeater tried to serve me that night. That should say it all, really.

The food was amazing but the service was shocking. The lady with the grey hair needs to learn how to smile or at least pretend to be happy in her job.

The service & food were not the impressive comparing to other beefeater restaurants we’ve been to. Staff are very friendly to the customers they obviously know for a long time & new customers are left out. Also it’s disappointing that we got there @12noon on Sunday but been told Sunday roast at their restaurant is subject to availability. Uncomfortable service from the beginning to the end. The food isn’t great either comparing to the other restaurants. We’ve usually received brilliant service at the beefeater restaurants that’s why we like to go back but it’s such a shame it isn’t consistent. The waitress really know to please & take great care of their regulars in cheltenham

Had christmas lunch here yesterday and I have to say we really enjoyed it , my son had the traditional roast Turkey dinner and my daughter and myself had the lamb rump all our meals came with all the trimmings and the roasters were amazing . Really fast service lovely hot meals and great atmosphere only blip which was our fault was the starter as we didnt realise it came with horseradish sauce which none of us like , that'will teach us not reading the menu properly . Other than that it was all perfect especially for me not having to cook . Thankyou to all the staff working on christmas day , must of been good as both my adult kids are fussy and both said they would go again

The food for 8 of us arrived together and was excellent. Sadly the 45 minutes wait did not enhance the experience. Our waiter was extremely polite and professional.Because we were a party of 8 we were placed upstairs on our own, so the atmosphere was somewhat lacking but the food made up for it.

Ate here for an evening meal and breakfast while staying on the adjacent Premier Inn and must say it was excellent. We had the meal voucher, which turned out to be excellent value. My meal, the trio of fish, was exceptional, really delicious and my family all thoroughly enjoyed theirs. Julie, our server, was so lovely, very attentive and helpful. Breakfast, again was great. Would recommend here.

High rated food, quick service and lovely staff. I had a prawn cocktail and T bone steak. I wanted a meringue sweet but didn't have room. Will go there again
