Burger Star in Cheltenham

Not great! I used to love burger star as a treat every now and then, (as they are quite expensive) however the last 2 times I have been there, over the last 6 months, it hasn’t been great. The standard has really fallen below par. Chips were tasteless, burger was pink inside and the bun looked anaemic. Normally it’s nicely toasted. Given how much it’s costs, you’d expect it to be pretty bloody good. I won’t be back for a while.

Great burgers! They were very American, and good sizes. I know because I am from America! They weren't as good as an American burger joint, but they are some of the best I've tried in the UK.

ScrumdiddlyumptousSlogan, burgers best by far is pretty much bang on. Forget all your McDonald's and Burger King, you want a proper burger 🍔 then this is the place to go. I've been going to Burger star for years, I absolutely love them. I introduced my girlfriend to them and got the same result and the same result again when we took her son. His description was a little more explicit than mine but basically enjoyed his burgerIt's a shame there aren't many shops around anymoreI'd say the prices are competitive but I think it's worth every penny 😉 can't wait for my next visit.

Burger Star have always been great but they have done really well with their safety processes for covid. The even the customers deserve a 5 star rating, everyone kept their distance and moved up the queue. It was quite amusing how we all moved in tandem before the friendly staff member remained us! Well done everyone!

Been coming to Burger Star for more years than I care to remember but after today, I will not be back for some time. I ordered a ¼ pounder with cheese and chorizo, that's £5.55. Add small fries and a drink and that comes up to £9.60. That's a lots of money when you compare with McDonald's or Burger King. You could argue that the burger is nicer, and it is, but enough to price it at £5.55, well maybe just. But the fries let the meal down, they were just tasteless, I salted them but they just tasted like cheap fries.But what really let Burger star down was there customer service, or lack of it. Once my order arrived I asked for a dipping pot to fill with my choice of sauce but was told it was 30p, which I knew but had forgotten to ask for at the time of ordering. I handed over my card but was told cash only or minimum purchase of a pound. I had no cash. So was told to put it in the corner of the burger box. So I asked what was the 30p for if I could take the sauce anyway?! Was it for the pot? No, I was told, for the sauce and pot!! But I could take as much sauce as I wanted if just had something to put it in. The lad suggested I used a tissue... Really?!?!This for me spoilt the Burger Star experience. All over a 30p pot I was willing to pay for but did not have the change for. The stubborn, cocky and borderline rude customer service was not what I would expect there. So I cannot justify the overpriced burger as ultimately, it went down in lumps and left a bad aftertaste.
