China House in Cheltenham

**FOOD POISONING**HiI've been unable to contact you via email as the address advertised on your website isn't valid.Early yesterday evening, my friend and I ordered a takeaway from you, for delivery to Fiddler's Green Lane, Cheltenham.The meal included two crispy chilli beef, mixed starters for two and chicken chow mien.Since 5am this morning, I have been extremely poorly with what I believe is food poisoning. My friend has been fine. The only element of the takeaway that we didn't share, was the mixed starters (ribs, prawn toast, satay chicken and spring rolls).Please can I ask that you consider this before serving any food this evening as I wouldn't want anyone else to experience this.Thanks

Hour and 40 mins for the wrong order when told it would 3 times it was on way. Dont bother its jank

Absolutely delicious food, great delivery, consistently good. BUT, I was a regular customer for my mushroom curry until they set minimum delivery to £13 plus delivery fee. Such a shame. I live alone now so if I order £13 worth, I don't eat all of it. I'm going to have to collect locally or find a delivery which has a cheaper minimum order.

went in to order from shop, had to wait about 25 mins for order and importantly the food was just not up to standard. They seemed busy with lots of delivery/ internet orders - quantity over quality seemed to be the flavour of the night!

Ordered a Wednesday night home delivery from this Takeaway at approximately 18:30, via JustEat. Ordered for three people and came to £40ish which was reasonable considering the portion sizes. The food was dispatched quickly and arrived by about 19:15. Food was nice and hot, cooked very well and of high quality and tasty. I felt it was very good Chinese food and I would recommend this takeaway. We were disappointed however not to receive a complimentary bag of prawn crackers. Especially considering the size of the order.

Found no less than THREE hairs in my food tonight. One in the salt and pepper chips and two in the sweet and sour chicken. I'm not normally bothered if i rarely find a stray hair; accidents happen. But three is just careless and disgusting, and that's assuming i found all of them.

Deserves a zero star rating to be honest. Soggy, greasy food that tastes like it's been cooked in very old oil with far too much msg. This is by far the worst takeaway I have ever eaten. Very overpriced as well, wouldn't mind paying more if it was actually palatable. Avoid at all costs, the food is truly disgusting.

Poor quality food ( can’t say it’s Chinese) available from this shop. We bought chicken chowmein, crispy chilly beef(photo) and hot and sour soup. If you like real Chinese food, stay away from this shop.

Have used this chinese for years, but since moving to its new location the quality of food has really gone down. Tonight's order was awful, burnt food, chow mein was so greasy it went through the cardboard box and puddle in the bag. Food cold on arrival yet arrived very quickly, too quickly for it to had been cooked fresh. They have lost custom with us.

Ordered last night, food arrived earlier than said. Poor value for money, noodles like stodge. Rang to complain, only to be told we are not China house. Whoever was on the phone was rude and abrupt. Will definitely never use them again. Poor food, poor service an overall poor experience
