Cosy Club Cheltenham in Cheltenham

Good food and drink selection, tho mostly the same as the other Cosy Clubs (tho that's not a bad thing) interesting decor and helpful attentive staff, one of the better chain restaurants

One star on because zero not an option. Booked table for 11 for a 25th anniversary meal. Staff took orders then returned 30 mins later to state that five out of the 11 orders were not available and to choose again, second choices resulted in the same return to table to ask to reorder as those choices not available either. Finally order arrived with one stone cold, they were invited to reheat which they attempted only to reserve still cold. Meal returned... The most shocking part is that they acted like they were doing a favour for not charging for the cold steak. Challenged to receive a £60 reduction of bill. Cannot have that day again, totally spoilt event - will never set foot inside again...

Came here for breakfast with 5 others. Service was good, but food very disappointing. My bubble & Squeak didn't taste fresh at all and the poached eggs were cold and vinegary. This felt pretty shoddy considering we were first people there and had prebooked. Coffee wasn't good

Pros: Absolutely stunning decor, great ambiance in the evening. Great place for decently priced coffees in the morning / day. Friendly servers (albeit sometimes green).Cons:Food seemed better before late last-year's menu change.One kids' burger patty was big mac sized, the other a gold ball. Both had bits that has put the kids off patties.If you're part of a discount bloc, and less than 2 months after the T&Cs of that bloc were published to its members you then unanimously amend your conditions without notice, we're going to be surprised when you reject our coupon. Further, I'm going to be irritated when, as a restaurant hospitality manager, you stand over and glaring at me when I say I'm not happy with that and you argue the point. You did eventually acquiesce on that front (thank you) but by then our evening out had rather been sullied.Advice: You've too much competition in the Brewery Quarter to have hit-and-miss food and hospitality at your price point.

I'm going to be as honest and fair as I can with this review, Yesterday we visited as a group of 11 that we prebooked. I understand this is a fairly large group but the business had notice, however since it was a big group I'd allow a little bit of leeway. Firstly the drinks & The food we had was really nice and the staff were friendly.However the speed of service was terribly slow, as previously stated I understand we were a large booking but the venue wasn't busy at all with quite a few staff on, Our first round of drinks we all ordered cocktails so we expected a wait. It took close to 40 minutes for the first round of drinks to arrive, The drinks didn't arrive until the Starters did.Because of the wait when they arrived we put another drinks order in of faster serve items (bottles beers, spirit & mixer etc) This also took close to 30 minutes to arrive. At this point the mains started to arrive but we still had starter plates on the table as they weren't cleared, During this time we requested 3 times for some table water and it wasn't until the 3rd time asking a member of staff brought over 1 small jug that would have possibly done 3-4 glasses of water for a table of 11.The food and drink was actually really good but the wait was far too long. We decided not to order anymore drinks or deserts because of the wait time, I'd imagine we'd of had another 2-3 drinks each + deserts easily if the service was quicker.Food 4/5Drinks 4/5Service 2/5Speed of Service 1/5So I'd say a generous 3/5 overall.

We booked for lunch today and the food was really good. The service was a little slow, but it was busy and the staff were very friendly. However, what disappointed us is that we really wanted to try the salted caramel cheese cake, but neither of us like toffee pop corn, which was served with it. So, we asked if we could have a scoop of ice-cream instead. After all the brownie is served with that at the same price. But we were told no unless we pay an extra £1.25 each. I guess good old fashioned service that accommodates the customer is not as important as cost. Two scoops of ice-cream would probably have really affected their profit margins.

After accidentally booking for 10 people for lunch at Cosy Club Chelmsford when we were in Cheltenham the staff couldn’t be more accommodating. The service was excellent and they were more than happy to cater for fussy eaters making their own meal from the menu. Thank you Cosy Club and a special mention to Freya!

me and my partner came here for my birthday lunch. WOW. inside is something I've never seen before in a restaurant, Such interesting paint work, Chandler's, Decor. the service was excellent, Friendly Staff, Friendly atmosphere, and quite cosy😊The food was incredible. When we paid the bill and was going to leave we were told to have a cosy day 😊👌🏼

I visited the Cosy Club with 3 friends and we had a fab night. Great service, great food and good choice of dishes. Good value for money and good drinks choice. We booked for 8.30 on a Saturday night, it was busy with a really nice atmosphere. We were well looked after and will definitely be returning. Happy staff make happy customers!!

Only popped in to have desserts after some drinks at another venue. They managed to find us a table (even though we hadn't booked). The service was swift and efficient, and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. Will definitely be back.
