First time visiting. It was a Saturday night and a band playing, so extremely busy. I believe it's well known for its televised sports games so a few big screens around the bar which were on tho obviously no sound. There is a very easy app to order on tables.. Just QR code no download needed.. Excellent. And our food and drinks came promptly. My first criticism is that the band play by the door so people are dancing in the way of both people entering and of those trying to get to the bar. Not ideal. No one wants a flinging elbow knocking your £8.00 glass of wine you are carrying to your table! My second is control your glass collectors..!! 😡 It may just be an inch left to you but that inch has been paid for. Dont swipe, ask if it's finished with!

A cosy pub with a good atmosphere. Great selection of drinks on tap and bottled. The food is delicious, cooked and presented to a high standard with great portion sizes. Unfortunately there's a smell of stale urine and body odour that seems to hang in the air here and I don't think it's the customers, perhaps the staff would benefit from a gentle reminder of hygiene practices and sometimes a smile wouldn't go a miss either.

We are so happy we found this place! The staff are super lovely and very knowledgeable about drinks, Natalia and Cal, and the range of craft beer and gin is amazing! We will be back soon :)

One of my favourite watering holes in Cheltenham, extremely friendly service and a great menu. Televised sporting events and live music makes for a great atmosphere. Warmly recommended!

The best pub I've ever been! Delicious food and great atmosphere! Natalia on the bar was wonderful!

Delicious burgers with real meat.I found it very strange that they won't accept Money (cash) for payment,Strait away leaves a bad feeling about this place. Is it Lazy, Arrogant, there's 2 other bars in Cheltenham with this attitude, plus one cafe, Good luck to them 😁

A very welcoming place, and dog friendly too which was one of the reasons we visited. Very glad we did, as the staff were all really friendly, with excellent service. There were a great selection of real ales, and really good food that absolutely exceeded our expectations. We would definitely recommend it!

My wife and I visited this gastro pub last Monday and had a great time sat outside in the sunshine and enjoyed a couple of extremely good Caesar salads. They fell short a little on authenticity, as cheese had been mixed in with the lettuce, but they were nonetheless extremely good. The staff, Matt and Joanna, were very friendly and helpful. The place itself has a very nice vibe, with classy furnishings and great decor. Worth a visit.

I've passed this place for years and only yesterday are there. I feel like I've been wasting my life. We went for a series banquet and were blessed.Dirty fries, Dirty Sanchez, tobacco onions, veggie burger, BBQ bites (so my mate tells me) and more were the best I've had. It took a good hour to try to eat it all, because the taste makes you want to keep going, even when the tummy is about to burst...which is surely praise! It really is outstanding food, which is wonderfully enhanced by brilliant staff and a lovely location. Highly recommend if you like your burgers!

I used to go to Harry Cooks a lot a few year ago and it was always busy. I had been there once for for which was decent, at the time they done small plates. But I had mainly been for drinks. I stopped going for a few years. Then in May 2021 they had tables available outside so we thought we would try them again. The 3 of us sat outside and we were asked to scan the NHS covie app when going in and were asked to sanitise our hands. The menu was a barcode we scanned on our phones. And we were able to order and pay via our phones. The wings were amazing and my girlfriend and her mum had a burger each and they loved it! It was quite unexpected as I hadn't really thought of Harry Cooks as a place with good food. If you like pizza, burgers and wings then it is worth trying.
