Hei Kitchen in Cheltenham

Disgusting thing... Sweet and sour chicken was so dry so it was like a crunchy chips like with no meat at all... Too sweet... After one spoon of the ginger and spring onion King prawn I've got a ginger overdose. In the end whole of my £30 order went to the toilet... That classifies for a full refund but they don't provide such a thing.... Horrible...

This Chinese Restaurant is exceptional. I will be ordering here again at the next opportunity. I really enjoyed the food!

The most horrible food I ever eat. My daughter didn’t eat nothing and my portion was half onion. Taste horrible. Not even in hospital you will not receive this kind of food. I am sorry I tried and waited for this delivery. 30 minutes late at arrival. Keep your money in your pocket Doesn’t worth it

Delivery estimate on ordering from was 30 mins. On placing order it jumped to over an hour. Actually took 2.5 hours! 2.5 hours of restaurant not answering phone whilst Just eat website said delivered an hour ago, and restaurant no longer taking orders!? I’m getting it in the neck from the family and I was pretty certain we were never getting it, so ended up actually going down there to see what was what.Lady (owner) was having technology problems and very stressed out. When the food eventually arrived it tasted pretty good, and portion sizes were OK. However we didn’t get the ‘free’ prawn crackers and it certainly wasn’t cheap!Maybe we just had a bad experience, but reading Google reviews suggests there are issues with this place. Personally I wouldn’t buy from here again.

Not hugely impressed. We ordered a delivery from here and a few things were a bit upsetting. The pork rib starters were tiny pieces of chopped up ribs with hardly any meat on. We ordered rice to go with our mains, only to find out that the rice was actually included with the dishes. It didn't say any of that on Deliveroo so we paid and extra £5 when we didn't have to. Hei kitchen should have notified us. Probably won't go there again

Very tasty food and great portions. Such lovely and friendly staff and driver. So far I'd have to say this is the best value for money place in Cheltenham and the food is really good too.

Food arrived promptly (I did only order 1 dish) and thought price was fairly reasonable. However was disappointed with the quality of the food. I ordered the dim sum platter and it didn't taste very fresh and had a strange texture in my opinion. Would have to try other dishes to get a better idea but would not order the dim sum again!

Firstly I would like to say the rice was not egg fried it tasted more like shop bought microwave rice, on top of that the portion sizes probably wouldn't fill a child and the free gift when you spend over £20 is non existent. the sweet and sour tasted more like vinegar and pineapple and the chips tasted refried. Putting this up hoping you don't make the mistake of ordering from here like I did. Good luck on your food endeavours. . .
