If you like France & if you love French food then you need to visit Petit Coco Bistro in Cheltenham. I even overheard one diner say "it's just like being on holiday in France for an hour or two" and do you know what, she was right. The atmosphere, the restaurant, the service and most importantly the food was excellent. We visited on a quiet Monday evening, with several other diners, it was so relaxing. The restaurant was warm and welcoming, and the staff were very pleasant & polite. We opted for the house red; after all when in France always drink the wine chosen by the locals, so if the restaurant chose it for their house wine it wasn't going to be bad and it wasn't. A full bodied fruity red.For our entrees I had the ham hock terrine whilst my wife had the stunningly tasty comte soufflΓ©; a better entree she's never had she told the waiter. A creamy and very cheesy πŸ§€ πŸ˜‹ dish. And then for our mains I had the duck whilst my wife chose the calves liver with bacon. Both great choices, full of flavour and cooked to perfection. Then for our desert we finished our evening with a creme brulee to share.A lovely evening at Petit Coco Bistro. A lovely French Bistro that we will certainly visit again, soon. Very happy to recommend a visit, I don't think you'd be disappointed 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟.

The best meal we've had in a long time and one of the best ever. It's a small cosy bistro with lovely, friendly staff. It's not cheap, but well worth it, especially compared to some places we've eaten in Cheltenham. As for the food, we'll it was just perfect, so definitely will be back!

In town visiting. Recommended by our friends who live in Cheltenham. We had the Lunch Special. Delicious. Good service. Great authentic decor. Intimate Basement location. Highly recommended πŸ‘ŒπŸ‘

We had the most enjoyable lunch there, the food was very French, rich in flavour, with added delicious sauces. Expect butter and cream on most dishes. Sally, but very characterful, lovely and cosy place, that reminds you of old Parisian eateries.

We came to Petit Coco Bistro around a month ago for our anniversary dinner. Firstly, it’s a very romantic restaurant, makes you feel like you could be in the middle of Paris!! It’s very authentic and the menu is in French on a blackboard (very cool but also tad hard to understand). We got the duck and the beef and both were absolutely divine!!! Highly recommend both (the pictures speak for themselves!). Both the chunky chips and fries were yummy - we had no complaints! Oh and the chocolate fondant was gluten free - absolutely amazing for a GF intolerant like me, I’ve never had it anywhere!!! It was delicious. This place is a hidden gem and a must! Lovely staff too.

Such a lovely restaurant with a great atmosphere and authentic simple French food. Really enjoyable experience. Highly recommend the pork belly, escargot and duck Margot. All sensational.

Petit Coco had a charming cosy old-world French bistro feel and excellent service. We chose escargot, baked camembert, duck and steak. My Belgian lunch companion said the quality of the food was on par with the best you could find in French regions. All dishes were beautifully cooked, seasoned and delicious. The quality and taste of the steak was exceptional. The waiter Johnny was outstanding: he was warm and accommodating with a perfect touch of flair and local knowledge. He made the lunch experience even more enjoyable. I’d recommend this gem of a restaurant to anyone going to Cheltenham.
