Pizza Express in Cheltenham

Beautiful location, great service & yummy food served quickly on a Saturday evening

Staff were polite and friendly. Food was very good and reasonable prices. I will go again.

Waited for a looooong time for main course.Capricciosa not on the Heritage menu any longer which is a disappointment.Got given the wrong bill twice so put extra payment on the card machine to make up the difference anyway.Aside from that Pizza Express is normally good so maybe this is just some inexperienced staff having a difficult afternoon. It happens.

Anyone who calls the food of this place excellent does not know good food is. I didn’t expect much from Pizza Express but this really was below even those expectations. Pizzas are soggy and tasteless which, if you think about it, is extraordinary for a place primarily selling the type of food the chain is named after: pizza.

They made us wait 15 minutes after the stated time and they didn’t even apologize. Abysmal service. The wait staff use their hands to move the takeaway pizzas into the boxes between shouting orders and I’m sure they do not wash them. The food, when we got it, had stiff cheese grafted to it and the dough balls were rubbery. They were also inexplicably covered in cinnamon and there was sugar in the butter! Overall terrible.

Not eaten at PE for quite a while. Great food and well priced. Friendly staff here. Nice clean restaurant. Would go again.

Pretty disappointing. Completely empty at 8pm on a Thursday. Ordered Fiorentina Pizza as I like to be able to dip into the yolk, unfortunately the yolk was already broken before being cooked so was spread out and solid. Asked for chilli oil and was brought a small pot of olive oil. Expensive for what you get.

I recently got back into deep pan pizza after a long hiatus. It's difficult to beat Pizza Express, possible but difficult. The jalapeno dough balls were new to me and really fiery and tangy. Great interior architecture, a Recency home I'm guessing. I'll be back😀

Pizza fine. Drink came in a glass half full and that too mostly ice. No condiments etc available. We asked for chilli oil and they brought us a tiny bowl of olive oil with a few chilli flakes at the bottom that tasted of nothing. Really slow service, considering it wasn't even busy.

Had such a delightful experience here... First time I'd visited but the service was impeccable, the lady waitress was kind, thoughtful and attentive to my needs! I always judge a good restaurant on if they leave the parmesan pot (this one did) so ratings went up in my eyes ☺ the food was delicious, came out just how i ordered it and the service was so quick! Would definitely come again!
