Purslane in Cheltenham

We had the tasting menu and it was absolutely divine! Beautiful restaurant and service was great!

Fantastic service and amazing food. Their knowledge was second to none. Amazing catering for gluten free as well - my wife could eat 100% worry free! Wine flight was also incredible. Some amazing quality wines. The atmosphere was really welcoming and the staff were extremely professional.

absolutely Awesome...and perfect food. We had the 5 Course Tasting Menu and it was perfect. The Lamb, the Scallop and or ( even if i normally absolutely don't like it) the Beetroot and just a perfect evening with super delicious food...

I wish I could give more than 5 stars, honestly. We had the 5-course tasting menu and the restaurant were so accommodating in making sure any dietary requirements we had were catered for, I hugely appreciated this. Every course was so beautifully presented, perfectly sized and delicious. A mixture of both classic and surprising flavours. My partner, who now hangs his head in shame beside me, was so critically hungover that he had to leave halfway through. I explained his idiocy to the staff and they were so understanding. I stayed of course and enjoyed every morsel of my meal, and they were kind enough to pack up whatever they could for the remainder of his courses to take home. After licking his self-inflicted wounds, he loved everything we brought home.The service and food was impeccable (picture attached of the absolutely cosmic peach dessert). I also think it was very reasonable for the price. Thank you so much, we will be back!

Went for the 7 course tasting with wine pairing - and the food was incredible. They accommodated us with a pescetarian tasting menu - switched the meat course for another fish course, which was much appreciated. The wines paired beautifully and you got to experience a lot from different countries. The ‘snacks’ were basically another course and the breads were fresh and warm. Really reasonable for a tasting menu of such high quality! Would definitely recommend!

We had a great meal at Purslane. The food was excellent and very inventive. I would highly recommend the scallops which were fantastic!The restaurant has been set up with very smart screens between tables to allow diners to feel safe but maintain a decent amount of tables. We were very impressed by how the staff adapted to the new environment and all the precautions they took!
