Rotunda Tavern in Cheltenham

I've used the Rotunda since the 70's when I've been back in the country and the atmosphere hasn't changed. You still get the same warm welcome

Good all round pub, original fittings staff efficient and friendly. Singer on the night was very entertaining (Dartanion) I think, good luck

Good choice of real ales on offer. Extra seating outside with table service available. Handy to know that it opens at 11am which is earlier than many other pubs in this area. Mind your step whey going to the toilets as the steps down are very steep

Come to the Cheltenham festival for the week every year in March. Come into here each night. Guinness is spot on. Steve is a great landlord and the staff are brilliant. Should hopefully be back in March 2022, please god.

we had a week's stay in Cheltenham and the Rotunda was the best pub we found. Great beers at reasonable prices, friendly staff and excellent sitting-out area to enjoy the good weather. would definitely recommend.

1 star is a very generous review for this place. Before we ordered any drinks, the bar staff stated they would be with us in a moment as there were only 2 people on tonight and they were very short staffed and stressed. After we had almost finished our drinks we were then accosted by someone, who I can only assume works there, as she didnt introduce herself. She then harassed us and attempted to intimate us as we had asked for a receipt after payment. We were told we had to leave even though we were about to order more drinks. Only go here if you are a regular or want to be called a "nobody" by "staff".

This is a nice place that still has that pub feeling to it. For as long as I remember it has had friendly bar staff and good beer. {I prefer cider but when I was a beer drinker it was a nice clean pint that went down really well. Plenty of seating inside and out. It does not have a beer garden so you are outside the pub watching the world go by. A great place to call in and relax with a friend or two and a nice drink.
