Had my child’s birthday party at the Pavilion in the back. Staff were so attentive and helpful the entire time. Food was delicious and the kiddos gobbled it up. Plenty of space for a bouncy castle inside :)

A nice quietish table next to fire was most welcome. The food was good quality and for the three of us plenty to eat. A very enjoyable Sunday meal.

Half decent pub with a function pavilion in the rear garden. Says dog friendly online but this is only in one small bar room at the front.

Visited for a wake in the function room. Sandwiches were provided which were all very fresh. There's a bar in the room which saves you having to leave the room. If you do fancy a wider selection of drinks, you can use the main pub bar (good ales available). Staff were polite and cleared tables throughout the afternoon. It makes for a very pleasant venue.

Used the function room a few times now and everytime, staff have been friendly and always give amazing service. Food has always been great quality (hands down best pub chips I have ever had) highly recommend.

Best roast I've had here in a while, friendly staff & great service!!It sadly went down hill for a while after it was taken over which we were absolutely devastated about as it was our favourite place for a Sunday lunch and came here almost weekly.We went back recently & left feeling really content and could of easily stayed for a dessert and dragged out our meal with more wine like we used to:)A little more gravy & horseradish would of been a great addition!On a side note - such a shame that the restaurant bar has been painted grey it was beautiful as it was

Beautiful pub in quiet location. Quick, friendly service from all members of staff. Wide selection of drinks and the food was well presented and tasty. Good value for money as well. Would recommend!

Stayed at the racecourse for a company event this last weekend. We ventured out for a short walk to this gem of a pub. Best pub grub I've had in a long tome. Friendly staff and a real cosy atmosphere. Highly recommended.
