Very pleasant pub, welcoming staff, food excellent. A good selection of beers.

Not great unless you like red meat. If you like chicken then you're out of luck. We asked if they did a chicken burger and initially they said no and then the waitress came back and said we can do. We were with the baby and was looking really forward to get him to sleep before the food came out. Managed to get him to sleep and just as I did the waitress leaned over the pram and asked if we want cheese in the burger. Unfortunately baby woke up and cried all the way through so we had to rush our food and get out . The food was really nice but the fries were not at all. Quite pricey, but all in all the waitresses made a real effort

Visited The Suffolk Arms last night, great menu choice, beautiful wine, food and service was outstanding. Will be back in the New Year for one of your famous Sunday roasts! Thank you for a fabulous dining experience.

Had a great time here we popped in on a Friday night and enjoyed it so much we came back on the Sunday to try their roast dinner and we wasn’t disappointed 👨‍🍳 Very nice pub with welcoming and helpful staff also was dog friendly in the bar where we had some of the food which was spot on would recommend checking it out 👍🏻

Two amazing meals wild boar and chorizo pie and Suffolk burger brilliant friendly service and dog friendly exceptional food. A must do in Cheltenham.

Amazing chicken roast lunch. Amazing chicken. Pudding amazing. Will definitely come back. Really good service and positive feeling from the manager and staff. Lovely manger. Love that he talked to us. 10 out of 10. Will definitely come back.

Very nice pub, relaxed atmosphere. Friendly, knowledgeable and attentive staff. Good drink and food selection. Local beers. Food quality (taste, ingredients, making, presentation) was excellent. Highly recommended!

We had the BEST Sunday roast ever today ! We have had many Sunday roast experiences in the UK and this was by far the best!.Every part of the meal - the meat and the vegetables freshly and individually prepared, the gravy was to die for. Although we were in a pub, it was not "Pub Grub" - it was a five star restaurant experience. Ben the Chef, was out and about talking to patrons, Mark the Manager , was very gracious and attentive, the staff where excellent. The transformation in the Suffolk Arms is amazing - the food, the decor and the ambience makes this establishment an absolute delight.

Fantastic roast!! Best one I've had out in a long time. Everything was cooked beautifully - great selection of veg & a perfect yorkie.The staff were attentive & very patient with our large table including a toddler & newborn baby:)Really wonderful lunch, thankyou.Keep up the good work, well be back.(A little more gravy next time would keep us northerners very happy;))

Honestly one of the nicest meals I have had in Cheltenham. Friendly staff who are happy to get you another pint. And taking responses for each order.I went for the Suffolk burger.Burger with cheese, gherkins, smoked bacon and burger jam. Honestly a fantastic burger and cannot fault how tasty it was.The next was dessert.I am a faller for sticky toffee pudding and am proud to say when I see it it's my way of verifying if the restraint is decent.This sticky toffee was lovely and hot with the sauce and a gorgeous dollop of vanilla ice cream. Not much for the price but it was still a lovely end to the meal and another pint.Total £29. For one person. I don't usually go for these, but on this occasion. The sticky toffee pulled me in.The area is quiet with an array of shops and the pub is made to match this. Quiet but soulful.I will be coming here again. They seem so interested in making sure I was okay with the burger and the pudding. And the bartender was happy to have simple conversation.Five out of five for me. Keep it up!
