Just lost its pizazz. It isn't what it used to be. Atmosphere is gone. King Prawns were amazing, but my sirloin was dry and leathery, i asked for Rare, it was medium, wierd liver type taste too. I wont be back.

We went there just after Christmas and had a lovely afternoon meal, however we went back on 20/2/22 and the meal was awful. We had chicken strips as a main and they were dry and over cooked, tasted like they had been prepared the day before and re heated. The shrimp starter was nice….. all 5 of them.Sadly we won’t be returning, when they are good they are very good but on this occasion they were dire.

(29/01/2022) Would not recommend dining here on a weekend. We waited 25 minutes for someone to take our drinks order (by which point, we were also ready to order food), and then over an hour for the food to arrive (which only came after we asked the waitress where the food was). I really applaud the staff who were working that evening, as they were clearly understaffed and overrun, they were trying their best in difficult circumstances, so I do not by any means blame the servers, they did a great job all things considered. There was limited availability on drinks (no draught beers, out of stock on ciders/spirits etc.), however, the waitress was very kind and topped up soft drinks quickly and with no issues. The problem I ran into was the food. I ordered a lemon and herb chicken Caesar salad, and unfortunately it was one of the worst meals I’ve ever experienced. I regret not taking a photo for context, but the experience left me feeling extremely anxious, so I had to leave almost immediately. They had run out of croutons, so replaced it with deep fried poppadom’s (tasted terrible). The leaves looked like they were on their way out, but this was almost hidden by the Caesar sauce. The salad was swimming in the Caesar sauce and tasted like vinegar. The chicken was slightly cold and gooey on the inside. It was supposed to be lemon and herb spiced, but I couldn't taste anything of the sort. Luckily, management were very understanding and refunded my meal, however, I am concerned with what is going on in the kitchen...I feel very sorry for the waiters and waitresses at TGI's, they looked swamped and almost nervous when they were serving our food. This experience was disappointing to say the least, as I have visited TGI's in Nottingham and found the experience amazing. Please sort out your Kitchen and don't offer meals when not all ingredients are in stock.

19.12.12 Went there for birthday as never had a bad experience. Wouldn’t go back after this time! The service was ok-ish (on the slow side considering it wasn’t busy) the waitress seemed nervous as it was, didn’t feel it was fair to complain to her.Food on the other hand what a disappointment. The main I had ordered the glazed burger as per the images this was still pink literally cold pink in the middle!! On top of that it was served on what looks as if it was a side plate. My partner ordered the loaded warrior fries & was presented with a plate of fries with a bit of hot sauce chucked on top (as per the images) I am embarrassed that I had suggested to go there for his birthday. Considering the prices of TGI’s this is certainly not reflected in there food!!I will ensure to take this further!

We took our son here for his 4th Birthday meal and it was amazing 👏. The staff made him feel so special and made us laugh from start to finish (in a good way).

Friendly didn't have to book wasn't overly busyHad a great starter chicken sticks with dip potato slices with bacon and hot wings for main. Had a rare 10oz steak was really good... Great meal I think it's child friendly as they had birthday or something happening on the other side of the building.. would recommend

Food was edible, I had a burger and chips, I liked the fries but not a fan of the burger. I asked for an extra gravy and it was brought out stoned cold but the 1st one was hot. There was 13 of us out for a birthday, we literally had to go get staff anytime we wanted a drink or to order food, no check back on our tables, steaks were pretty much cold on a cold hot plate. Never going back.

We visited early afternoon and the restaurant wasn't very busy.We were seated quite quickly by a very friendly and welcoming server. We ordered our drinks, starter and main. Our drinks arrived quickly, as well our starters. We waited over an hour for our mains to arrive, the servers disappeared for a long while and we were wondering what was going on. Food started appearing from the kitchen and we called over the server to ask where our food was, there has been an accident in the kitchen and Food production had to be put on hold. It would have been nice if someone would have advised us to begin with. When our Food did come out, it wasn't very warm. The rubs were overcooked and tough, the burger was okay. The server was apologetic and gave us a 10% discount without us asking because if the wait.Probably wouldn't visit again.

After being advised that they do not have space for 1 person and that they currently don't do takeaways, it was recommended that I ask of the bar would pack a meal up for me. Grateful that they did and my meal was ready in a flash.Average burger, but the overall taste was disguised by the extremely burnt nature of the bun.
