I went for lunch about 1.30pm today we were a group of 3 adults and 3 children aged 3 as kids eat free. But there was nothing to choose from and we had to clean off our own table thats was littered with dirty dishes . It was lunch time and all they offered were fried breakfasts for everyone, and chips. Not one of us could say something nice about our food. I can't figure out how my friends portion of chips that came out first were hot raw and greasy, mine came out next and were cold and stale? My child had a ham sandwich but the bread tasted on the turn.I have worked in commercial kitchens for over 8 year and can't understand why if your saying your short staffed so reduced the menu why it's not reduced to simple chicken nuggets and scampi extra just fried food done well. No one wants a fry up in the afternoon on a Monday. And if that is all your offering at least know how to do it wellOverall terrible and very disappointing!!!

Cleanliness isn't great, the croissant in the photo was very dry, but the main breakfast was okay, nothing special though.

Great for the price. I took kids there on spur of the moment on a Sunday. There was plenty of room and great service from Kate. I bought fish and chips and kids had nuggets and chips. One kid eats for free for each adult meal. Bargain really.

Nice breakfast but had to keep our coats on as the place is being renovated and was cold

I ordered a chicken burger meal, the cafe was very busy but got my meal very quickly. The hot chocolate is lovely!

The new table numbered QR code simplified the dining experience for mobile ready people.Walk in - scan Track and Trace - sanitise hands - choose any table free - sit down - scan table numbered QR code and follow instructions - go through menu - order - wait for hot food - if hot drinks are ordered go to coffee machine pick up nearby mug and press for example āCappuccinoā.Price: cafe full English Ā£5.50 cappuccino Ā£1.75 kids eat free āfrom the kids menuā (school holidays or after 3pm during term time. Thanks

Looked forward to trying the vegan breakfast, only to arrive - go to order and it is not available.. Come on people you can't have run out of anything, you are the supermarket... .. Left hungry and annoyed.. Picked up some Linda McCartney sausages and had a nice home cooked breakfast instead. I wont be trying the cafe again..

The food here can be really nice but today the hash browns were chewy fried bread was solid and the egg was snotty when I asked about the issues I was reminded how its cooked in bulk and what do I expect. But that said the sausages were very nice.
