The Cardamom House in Cheltenham

Ordered a takeaway from here via Deliveroo tonight. The korma and mushroom pilau were great, but sadly the 1/2 tandoori chicken left a lot to be desired. The masala used for the chicken just didn't taste good at all-v.sweet and just not balanced. It certainly lacked that 'deep' taste and aroma that normally comes from a tandoor-cooked dish.I would possibly order again, but it won't be the same menu choices. Such a shame as I had read all the good reviews and was really looking forward to this meal.

We always use Cardamom house. Always delicious, hot and fresh ingredients.We are a vegan and vegetarian family and find the food delicious.Tonight's was the best ever, even better than usual!!

Hi all just went into this Indian take-away house on the end of Hewlett Road, Cheltenham for the first time of trying an order too take home, a take away tonight all.!I ordered the set Indian meal for one and an extra garlic naan bread to go with a small portion, container of chicken tikka masala, or you can order another curry if you would like all, which also a choice of rice or a plain naan bread portion with the main meal part of the meal for one, priced at 9.95pounds all just!!You get one popadom, which was I bit of a shock, because the Indian in Gloucester my brother has ordered ahell of a lot of Indians chicken tikka masala meal for ones, with a meat naan bread, he, you get at least three poppadoms with your meal order, not with the cardamom House Indian take-away restaurant, house in Hewlett Road, Cheltenham Glos all!!I eat the poppadom, and my garlic naan bread in the car on my way home this new year day night, Saturday 1st January 2022 now, which is a bit kind of strange with another year had passed on, and older now all! I haven't had the chicken tikka and pilau rice yet, but the two Conrainers look quite sparse in quantity and quality all from the outside all OK!! My total of cost price for the take out I had was 13.45pounds all, go somewhere else like the Indian on the Bristol road opposite the old moorlands match factory, industrial estate now all, there Indians are brilliant all OK!!Happy new year all 2022!! We're all another year older again all now going into now, I'm going to be 54yrs old on the 16th January 2022 now, I'm getting old and feeling it now all unfortunately!!Take care all!N. What a great place for a good curry takeaway. Great curries, quick delivery and friendly staff. Highly recommended, will definitely use again!

Can't fault the food at all.. very tasty, the lamb melts in your mouth. I would definitely recommend.

Best curry I've had in a long time!! I ordered the Chicken Methi, loads of flavour & generous portions, fresh, soft naan & great chutneys!It arrived very quickly which I always find a bit worrying but it didn't dissapoint.Highly recommend!!I can't speak for the rest of the menu but I'll definately be ordering the Methi again

Really happy with the service we received. I have specific dietary requirements and they adapted a dish for me and were very helpful. The food was great and delivered promptly. Highly recommend!

Definitely the best curry we've had in a long time. Had the set menu which ended up being way too much food! The Lamb Rogan Josh was excellent as were the Naans and side dishes. Everything was fresh and arrived hot. Highly recommended and will order again soon.

I ordered from the Cardamon House for my birthday meal. It was a last minute order as I was let down from someone else. Even though it was a bulk order the food tasted amazing and I wasn’t let down ... and it was delivered within the hour. I couldn’t praise you enough for all your hard work you did thank you very much for making my birthday extra special !!!
