Walked in and sat down and the barmaid shouted over that we had to go to the bar for drinks which is fine but the place was empty and she was a bit rude with it. We were talking in our group she rolled her eyes and turned up the music. Then she tried to charge 50p to use the toilet that was filthy and had no loo roll in it. As we was leaving she shouted abuse to us. Not really sure what her problem was.

Brilliant wee bar along with the friendly staff and locals alike, and would definitely recommend the bar to any one visiting Amsterdam will be back 😎. Solid place just off the main tourist routes, great to watch sports and grab a quick drink solo or with friends. I always like to pop in here for a couple of beers when I’m in Amsterdam, it so friendly. The staff are a bit wacky and very chatty what ever the weather.

Excellent chill out bar. Tinika behind the bar is an absolute riot. Shows sport. And the best bit..... Absolutely NO screaming brats.

Great little bar for a few pints.... and a smoke if that's what you're into. Barman/owner is a great laugh and very friendly. Highly recommend this place for a quiet few beers

Lovely place. Rustic to the very roots and amazing beer. Got to love the friendly staff. Most of all , amazing conversation with the bartender.

Great place, excellent beers, extremely welcoming staff. The place is very basic. You will find there an excelent variety of beer (some of them were really exceptional, after tasting them I have totally changed my mind about dutch beer; before that I associated it with lagers like Heineken or Amstel) as well as some other alcohol beverages, and some snacks. Yet, the atmosphere of the place was charming, and a really good music was playing at the background. The staff was extremely lovely. Since my first visit there I felt in love with the place and visited it twice during my last trip to the Amsterdam.

Great choice of delicious beers, great location, good for both small and large groups. Often quiet and ready to be lightened up. Staff is great fun.
